Do we know what type of vehicle MJ drives? Or what vehicle he was known to be driving the day of PB's disappearance? Perhaps if we can find out, we can post pictures of simliar type vehicles which might cause someone to recall something that looked unusual or out of place the day Phylicia disappeared.

Maybe someone saw something unusual or out of place, but didn't tie it to PB's disappearance not knowing one of the poi's was driving that type of vehicle that day.

That is a great idea. I wonder if there are any public records that can be accessed in MD.

Some do. Some only wear a shirt with the company name and logo.

Subaru
MJ has two vehicles, a white and a black. He street races Subaru's (this from social networking sites, public photos and comments).

If someone can find the make, model and year of any cars MJ owns we can post pictures of similiar cars of the same. We've done that in some other threads, so I think we can safely assume we can do the same here.

The blog author indicates she has spoken with JS-M, who said she is pleased with the investigation and believes they will solve the case and bring justice.

I wondered about this comment. LE would have verified the hours Kelly worked that Monday, if she worked or not. If she did not, perhaps that is 'hold back' information. I've also considered the possibility, if this commenter is really a co-worker of Kelly's (as there is no way to verify the accuracy of this person really being who they claim to be) perhaps they were scheduled for different hours that day. State laws regulate not only child to adult ratio, they also regulate the number of hours day care providers can work per day.

IMO The big secret was that the father of Phylicia, Russell Barnes had another child that his family did not know about and his ex-wife (Phylicia's mom) Janis Sallis told this to Deena right before Phylicia went to visit. Why JS would do this I have no idea but from all I have seen and heard from these people it seems like their was a lot of "poking the cat".

I also don't understand how that would be such a big controversy? There were already divorces and half siblings, etc. I think people just want some answers already and the local media doesn't have much right now so what little information they get they have to sensationalize.

The only way I can see it being a big deal secret is if the child was born out of incest.

I agree a secret sibling is not a big deal. It apparently wasn't of concern for Ms. Sallis to keep her daughter from meeting and reuniting with her dads side of the family, something she herself has said she encouarged her daugther to do. 5 visits is quite a few. More than we were led to believe in the beginning of this case.


Not knowing the circumstances surrounding this other half sibling, I don't know why Ms. Sallis felt it necessary to tell DB, unless this sibling had a relationship with Phylicia and she did not want to put Phylicia in a position of keeping that secret from her half siblings D, K and B.

Respectfully, there has been no direct evidence linked to RB indicating he had any part of his daughters murder. Yes, I can see some believing his parenting skills and parenting involvement in his childrens lives was greatly lacking possibly leading them to make poor decisions in who they associated with. However, Deena, Kelly and Bryan are all adults, responsible for their own decisions.

Sadly, I am afraid this focus on Mr. Barnes will take people's focus off the actual persons responsible for Phylicia's murder. I hope I am wrong. I understand Ms Sallis's anger and my heart aches for her.

In all honesty, I do believe the Barnes families greif is real. Deena and Kelly will have to live with the consequences Phylicia suffered as a result of their poor decisions for the rest of their lives. I believe they are and will be harder on themselves than anyone else on any message board or blog can be. Do I believe either Deena or Kelly had direct involvement? No. If PB had od'd tox reports would already been back and arrests would have already been made. I believe, and this is moo, Michael raped and then killed Phylicia in order to keep her quiet.

I continue to pray an arrest or arrests come soon in this case.

Hope no one minds if I put my :twocents: into this. I believe there was a lot of jealousy toward Phylicia. She was beautiful, a class act, smart, great personality, outgoing and a girl with a future. Headed for college.

In spite of everything, I think members of her paternal family resented her for all she was and all they were not. I believe they didn't protect her but allowed her to be harms way out of jealousy and envy. They also might have resented their father bragging about her. jmo
