Some homes in New England do not have doors to go down to the basement.

Really? I live in NY and it is the law to have a door and a landing going into the basement. Thanks for clarifying!

As for the 'clean up'---can't they just say she stubbed her toe or cut her foot, so they cleaned up the blood?

OT, but I almost fainted when I saw not only LE but a real journalist on NG tonight...JMO

I thought I read that BV did NOT plan the vigil? Everything is mixed up...I don't think he has anything useful to offer. JMO

I am confused IF Vear had anything to do with the "planning" of the vigils ...

But -- he was interviewed at the vigil this past Saturday AND the vigil held previously ...

So that's twice Vear was interviewed by the MSM ...

:waitasec: I sure would like to know his REAL "connection" to the D family ...

If they can, I am sure they will, perhaps in court. But why not say that at first, instead of running away from LE? And also, the amounts and locations of the blood may prevent that story from flying at all. JMO

JVM kept highlighting the "long" hug between JD and TR. One view was seeing the back of TR and the front of JD (TR holding a balloon). The second view was seeing the face of TR crying and a side view of someone that was not JD. It was a woman..I'm guessing TR's mom (the lady that was standing next to her while she commented on the blood).

Just frustrated me to see how some shows try to create drama where it isn't needed. Wish they would stick to the facts and not try to make it so grandios!

JAT...

I saw the hug too finally and noticed the tap tap tap on her back by him. I associate the tap with being uncomfortable and want the hug to end. JMO

Also, finding out the sister is only 19yrs old painted another picture. <respectfully snipped>JAT...
I think that is an error. All other records I've seen have her at 23.

I promise I had the same confusion Sunday and have had it cleared up:

the church held the vigil on the 18th(approx) and bob vear helped...
then
Bob Vear facilitated the vigil along with the chaplain from a med center this past Sat the 28th, the day the blood info broke main stream

If you want links, I promise I will go get em.. but they are back there on Sundays posts, here in the Parkn' Lot)

Speaking of clean up...adding to my earlier speculation, PD mentioning her cutting her foot on the glass, now sounds to me like a guilty admission of cleaning up blood in the basement...but it wasn't hers.

Ayla thread #6, post 461 is 1st mention I've found on WS of BV co-organizing the Sat. 1/28/12 vigil.

Post 470 on same thread is first WS report of Boston station WCVB reporting blood was found in the basement (not yet attributed to Ayla at that time). Posts forward of that discuss LNM's distancing from the 1/28 vigil. Good re-reading, as a lot has happened since Saturday morning.

Trista's friend Amanda is on now...she says she personally thinks LE told Trista about the blood because there had been a leak to the media. Some "expert" is saying that LE is trying to get one of the three adults to come forward with the truth.

Hmmm.... interesting. I have a feeling "one of the three adults" that finally breaks their silence is the one who doesn't live there. I highly doubt if she is included in the "family" lawyer scenario. Justice for Ayla!

That depends...if she knew about the blood before now, and hasn't already gone to help LE, then I don't think she will. If she is just learning this, perhaps.

I am surprised that she has not been camped out at the police station already. Surely she must realize that the three family members can spin a yarn that makes HER the abusive one. And it will be three against one.

Not sure how they can STRONGLY DENY it. It is certainly a possibility.

No one wants that to be the conclusion. But, if Law Enforcement can confirm she is alive, we have to wonder... what else are they keeping close to the vest?

But she can say they lied about the blood, and lied about everything. Maybe she was sound asleep and woke up to a missing child?

Well they got this roller coaster up to speed with a quickness. Yes she is, no she's not. It happens alot. When news is breaking and someone says something too early you see this........

Really wish we knew who was in the house when and who claims to have set eyes on a healthy ayla when
