There have been suicides where the person was on the ground, with a rope tied to something and around their neck, and simply leaned forward. They black out and their body weight does the rest. More of a strangulation than hanging, but referred to by both terms. So she may not necessarily have been found hanging off the ground. And in that case, it really could be a suicide, and a fairly easy one... she wouldn't necessarily have had to find a tree she could climb or something to stand on.I think when people envision someone hanging from a tree due to suicide, they immediately picture the person hanging from high up in the tree.....and as such, how could someone kill someone then hoist them up a tree and secure them to a branch to give the appearance of suicide? .....but I do believe the victim was rather short, only 5'3"............and technically one doesn't have to be up that far in a tree to hang themselves, just has to be a distance high enough up so that their feet can't possibly touch the ground. Her BF looks pretty tall in comparison to her. Just speaking in general but I don't see how it would take all that much work/effort to kill someone, wrap a rope/noose around their neck then hoist them up using the rope over a strong tree branch - just enough so that their feet can't touch the ground.
