Sorry...I have been a member here a long time and have not had contact with any other family members in other cases. I joined a remembrance page for Lisa on FB and received response. Thought I would share since the person has been reading here from the start.

Thanks for deleting.

Yes, investigation of the crime scene and the autopsy will be critical in this case. I hope they like to think outside the box.

Will they make the autopsy public if no crime is alleged?

I'm horribly near sighted.
I could tie some manner of knot without my glasses, in the dark, but I really don't think I could climb a tree. Especially barefoot. I would go test this, but I don't have large enough trees.

Maybe she left in such a huff she didn't stop to get them! It would kind of ruin your running off angry mood if you stopped to get shoes, glasses etc. just my opinion of course, but maybe after she left and was to angry or stubborn to return she hung herself in a spur of the moment instance!

MOO!!

Someone who cannot see without the glasses does not forget to put them on, even in a huff. Because it's practically impossible to forget the glasses if without them you're unable to cross the room.

That all depends on how bad your eyesight is, and how pi$$ed you are when it happens. I can get all over my house, and yard without mine. Now if I have to get behind the wheel that's another story. Not everyone sees the same, or can get around without being able to see...

Someone who is in angry might not care. And not everyone behaves the same way when they're upset, no matter how dependent they are on their glasses.

“We have questions,” Waltz said about the search. Later on Tuesday, he said, “We still have some inconsistencies,” but in both cases he declined to be more specific.

All that searching. How did they not find her?
On Tuesday, Brunswick police enlisted the Maine Warden Service, along with two tracking dogs, to assist with a search of the deep woods behind the home. A Maine State Police plane scanned the area, including nearby Maquoit Bay, from the air, and a Brunswick police boat searched the bay.

I know, right? I have wondered the same. She was located only 150 feet from the home and right across the street. I don't understand...

Did you read about Joseph Garcia? He was reported missing. Three days later his truck was found with the engine running on the side of the road. No sign of him. They searched, and a month later they found his body less than 100 yards away from where his truck was found.

It's crazy to think someone's body could be right there and not get noticed.

How do you miss a body, especially when that's what you're searching for? Not criticizing LE and the searchers, just don't understand.

I have not read about this case. How heartbreaking!
I have so many questions concerning Lisa's case.
I'm emotional anyway right now. My grandmother has been in hospice care for a couple months and I was with her when she died last night. She was 94 and was a tenacious lady who worked hard but was generous. We sure will miss her.
When life leaves the human body, it is surreal. I stood with tears and silence...
I can't imagine hurting someone. How do criminals do it?

I'm so sorry! But how good you got to be with her for as long as possible.
All I can do is offer a virtual hug and remind you to take care of yourself.

maybe she just crossed the street and could tie a knot by feel? the possibilities are endless. including that she didn't kill herself.

Okay, but what about her poor eyesight? Without glasses, in the dark, how she was able even to get to these woods, let alone to find a proper tree and place a rope on the branch? How was she able to tie the knot, if she saw practically nothing?

I'd like to ask you to refer to Lisa respectfully. Please do not make remarks like "in a huff" or "pissed off." She may have fled in fear for her life but we don't know that and respect for her boyfriend entails limiting our remarks about him also. Thank you.

Why is it disrespectful to say someone was angry, pissed off, or left in a huff? Those are things people do. No disrespect intended.
