IMO I don't think there would have been any asphalt embedded in her since most highways are made of concrete. According to the medical report most of her injuries were to her back side not the front of her. If she went out the window face first then the front of her body would have sustained the most injuries but it didn't. She wouldn't of had a chance to flip before hitting the ground in that short of a distance. IF she really did go out the window then why didn't Lindsey stop her? She could have held on to her legs and Alonzo could have at least slowed down or stopped before she did get out through the window but he didn't he kept right on going.

I understand blunt force trauma.. I was just wondering about the "beating" part, really. So do they believe she was hit with an object or fists?

Could have been just a generic "multiple choice" injury classification...

...or an elbow?

Anyway, I still think she was conscious, enough to cover her face as she landed. (the report shows damage to the front & back of her left hand, and back of her right hand. Her right palm was uninjured and her face was basically okay...

Yeah, I agree. I have asked a few people's opinion on this and everyone has said there is no way they lifted an unconscious girl while it was moving (even a small girl) through a window. If anything, they'd open the door and roll her out.

I think I'm just correlating the wounds on her face (fat lip) with LDJ saying "why does she have to mess with the wrong people" too much..

I agree with you! There is no way they could have pushed an unconscious person out the window doing 75 down the interstate. I think Lindsey opened the door alright She opened the door while they were fighting and pushed MJD out. She had no drugs in her system that would have made her freak out like they said she did. Of course Lindsey changed her story quite a few times so who knows what the real truth is.

A blow to the head does not always render an individual unconscious. People who have sustained head injuries have later been told that they said or did things that they have no recollection of. They may have appeared intoxicated, including slurred speech and staggering. Often they will vomit and/or complain of a headache.

Going back to the fall. It would seem to me, if someone is leaning out of the window to throw up, and they start to jump, it would be automatic to grab the person's legs. It may not stop them from falling, but it would affect the way they fell. They would dangle out of the car, even if for only a few seconds, prior to slipping out of the person's grasp.

One more thing, what if ADF and LDJ switched places before stopping 20 miles down the road. Did the police report say if the trucker saw ADF driving, I forget?

That is true. Not everyone does lose complete consciousness.

I agree that it's instinct for a person to grab someone's legs if they are attempting to jump out the window. But at the same time I think it's also instinct to stop the damn car if someone just flew out of your vehicle! So I wouldn't put ANYTHING passed them.

I think the trucker recollected that ADF was "reaching" for something in the back, and that he was swerving around as if he were drunk, but I don't think he ever mentioned what seating arrangement the three of them were in. Who knows? I don't believe anyone.

fmw, were you ever able to ask your LE contact if they could obtain MJD's hospital records?

I emailed, but his reply didn't say yes or no, but he's looking into the possibility of tracking down hydroxyzine prescriptions from local free clinics.

Oh, I see. Well, that's still great! Thank you so much! :blowkiss:

I thought that particular drug was for acne or rosacea. I am no doctor, that is for sure.

I am trying to read all of these threads to get up to speed on this case.

What is the red round circle from on her head??
I may have missed this in all the threads.

It looks like the mark of a hammer or something.

I'm not sure what the round circle on her forehead is, but I see that there is some sort of drainage tube in her head. Maybe they attempted to insert this at a different location? BUT if that were the case, why wouldn't it be bandaged? Unless they got the photo of her face prior to bandaging her up where her face would be concealed by the bandage.

There are two different hydroxyzines. If I remember correctly, hydroxyzine hydrochloride is under the common brandname Atarax and is used as an antihistimine (for allergies). This often does have a sedative effect and it's recommended you don't drive until you know how the medication will affect you. This is typically not a street drug.

There is also hydroxyzine pamoate, which is under the common brandname Vistaril. This medication is used more for anxiety and tension. It's also used as a premedication for surgical procedures, and post-anesthesia. Vistaril could still be used as an antihistimine, but because of the sedative reaction, it is far less likely.

They both are not controlled substances, but I would suspect to see Vistaril on the streets more than Atarax. Also, because they both have a generic equivalent, and are made by many different manufacturers, it wouldn't be uncommon for a dealer to sell them as something else. I knew a guy who bought 'percocet' and when I saw the pill, I told him it was for neuropathic pain - definitely not percocet, and he was ripped off. This guy was the assistant manager at a Pharmacy and he could not distinguish the two types of medications. I think it could definitely happen to a prostitute.

the DOJ started a database for UID's and me's etc have been loading their cases into it fast and furiously. Our girl is in there and you can see her dentals which are distinctive in that she has fillings and 4 impacted wisdom teeth....

It is a kind of shunt to relieve the pressure accumulating on her brain-blood and fluid build up between the skull which is rigid and the brain which is soft-the brain gets displaced (squished) and you die.

IIRC, Shaine said that Alonzo's claim that MJD was in the middle was incorrect-he stated that she was next to the window...is that right dee? The witnesses also indicated that she "flew out the window" which leads me to believe she was not dangling....I know this won't ID her, but I think she had some help with her momentum....

I read in the ME report that MJD showed slight atherosclerosis (which can lead to stroke or heartattack from plaque build-up). I thought it may have been from heart/head problems (circulation) that she sustained from the incident, but then I realized in my text book it is actually a progressive disease that can start out in early childhood, and is made worse by high insulin levels (diabetes). Or she may have been a cigarette smoker (not surprising). Not that it will ID her, just wanted to throw that out there..

ETA
Perhaps just after death her arteries hardened.. but plaque? :waitasec:

wisdom teeth? really? I thought they didn't develop until your later teens, which I guess would put MJD on the older side (15) or maybe even older.

It would not surprise me if the term "impacted" means unerupted in the ME report. They "erupt" at 12, 15, 17 and 24 years of age on average-but we don't use them anymore...

Here is some of the stuff I found out about wisdom teeth: They start growing from the jawbone around age 9. They have to grow roots and crown, which is a long slow process. Many people have jaws that are too small for the teeth to grow correctly so they become "impacted" which equals "unerupted" on the dentistry website I was reading from. They can be non symptomatic when they are impacted, or symptomatic depending on the direction of growth... http://www.cmsllc.com/topwis.html

I was in my 30's when I had my very painful wisdom teeth removed. They had to surgically remove them.
