And why should she be scared?!? What she has done?? Enough with the victim-blaming! :banghead:

ETA: my response is to the video Los posted, not Los. For some reason it didn't show up when I quoted :)

Direct link to short article and 2 minute news segment from WCSH6 evening news:

Maybe he's floating the into-the-woods theory as advance damage control for when LE doesn't find Valerie on any CCTV at Walmart, Hannaford (adjacent supermarket) or any of the businesses on Route 201? There are woods just west of the Walmart parking lot.

Who's she hiding in the woods with Luc? Sasquatch?

Well I did read there was 2 sets of footprints.

Her husband gives me the creeps so badly. He's not making himself look very innocent?? I'm so confused as to his intentions.

  • #106
She's leaving and never coming back huh? Interesting if not a cryptic comment. I hope he is wrong.

From the above link
He said he didn't call police right away because he thought she would either go to her parents in South Carolina or come back home. When he called to check in with them about her, they told him she had not been in contact.

I thought they tried to call her but he is saying he called them?

Right? So which is it?
My hinky meter is so far in the red I'm afraid it's going to bust!
JMO, but I really don't think she's missing voluntarily, unfortunately.

"Luc Tieman said the two were on good terms, but said she did mention some things a couple days before she went missing that made him worry, including her talking about another man.
The day she went missing, Luc said his wife told him she was going to leave and never come back."

Ok, if they were on good terms, why would she leave. They bought a 50k truck this summer and is living at his parents.Maybe they were saving for a house, can't judge to much on that. If I did leave I would contact someone at least. I wonder who Vals close friends are.

I read directly from the parents it was the parents who called. If you look into a relative of hers you'll see some anger in the post directing that nobody bothered to call the family.

If i went inside a store and come back to my truck to see my wife missing, i would first call her. If i couldn't reach her, i would call the cops and not touch anything by the truck or inside the truck. And if he thought she would be with her parents, why didn't he call right away to check on that?

LE should be able to check out the story of her husband through security camera's or asking around if anyone saw them together at Walmart. To me (sorry if it's not allowed) it sounds more like making up an alibi for her disappearance.

Even if she had plans to go away and never come back (these words are haunting to me), why would she do it right there? Wouldn't she planned it out more?

I can tell so much just from that one photo of them in front of the truck. SO much. Definitely one of those "pictures worth 1000 words".

I'm sorry you're missing, Valerie. You don't deserve this.

their financial situation is puzzling. an expensive truck but her phone was turned off? that's a convenient excuse for him not staying in touch.

If Valerie "just took off", I'm curious to know what she took with her. IMO, a woman who does hair and makeup and takes care of herself doesn't just leave without taking her makeup bag and hair stuff. Clothes, I can pick up anywhere or borrow from my best friend but there are certain things in my makeup bag that I feel like I just have to have!!! Just MOO....

I really want to think she just "took off" but this one seems so obvious to me sadly...

Thanks for that! I was pretty sure his statement was bs, so was being a bit sarcastic, but it's good to have the clarification 😊
