GUILTY ME - Valerie Tieman, 34, Skowhegan, 30 Aug 2016

I wonder if he's going to say he shot her when she was already dead. Wouldn't put it past him. Very low IQ I'd say. What a loser.

Is someone trying to look like he's insane?

The FB rants, his behaviour, the ridiculous OD claim?

Does he think he's smart and is going for the insanity plea? Or is he really crackers?

THIS!!! I have been thinking this way since they found her body right in HIS backyard...

"Her parents reported her missing Sept. 9, and officers with the Fairfield Police Department went to the Tiemans' residence in an effort to find her. The couple shared a home with Luc Tieman's parents, but his mother told officers the couple no longer lived there. Luc Tieman and his mother, in separate discussions with police, said Valerie Tieman wanted to move out."

His mother again. She answers questions as if she knows what the situation is, doesn't she?

I am fixated on her actions. I might have seen too many Sons of Anarchy TV shows...

In late August, a friend told Valerie Tieman that her husband was having an affair. The friend, Torie York of Waterville, said in an interview with the Morning Sentinel that Luc Tieman had also been hitting on her while suggesting that he and his wife were thinking of divorcing.

Billi-Jo Goodwin, of Norridgewock, met Luc Tieman around Aug. 21 and “he immediately said that he wanted to be with her romantically,” according to the police affidavit. At a pool party on Aug. 24, he told Goodwin that his marriage was in trouble and about a week later he began staying at her home every night, saying his wife “had met somebody else,” the affidavit states.

The murder is alleged to have happened the next day — Aug. 25.

Goodwin told the Morning Sentinel on Wednesday that in retrospect she fell for Tieman’s charms.

This just disgusts me. A married man claims his marriage is on the rocks and you believe him and invite him to start having sleepovers at the home you and your young children share?

Again, none of the articles (like in this one) where this mistress is interviewed, does she even have the decency to express condolences to Valerie/Valerie's friends/family. It's just all about her and how she was charmed. All about her.

Poor mistress, carrying on on FB about what a nightmare this has all been for her. Trying to get lots of sympathy. Clearly not expressing any sympathy for the deceased wife of the man she was having an affair with.

Right? What world do these people live in?

Here is the Probable Cause Affidavit: https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/3113127/Luc-Tieman-Affidavit.pdf

Lots of interesting info in here, all of his lies to police. Wow.

He should just go ahead and plead guilty but he won't. He will continue to fabricate lie after lie. The jury will see right though him. I feel sorry for the attorney who has to defend him.

On another note, his mother has some explaining to do... IMO

So many selfish people. I hope the mistress learns a lesson from this about letting men she barely knows into her home and kids lives. I'm absolutely blown away by how quickly he moved in and they were exchanging "I love yous".

Luc is about as stupid as it gets, but he knows right from wrong. He can blame his actions on PTSD or whatever he wants, but it won't save him. He lied, deflected and victim blamed with every word out of his mouth. All he cares about is himself and that will be obvious to a jury.

She sure does. It looks like she is in this up to her eye balls, especially since she said they moved out a few days before 8/26, when in reality he killed her on 8/25 and it sounds like he did it on the property.

:tantrum: Even after the first post, we knew the ending...still sucks...still wrong! That smug look needs to be knocked off his face. And how do you explain two gunshot wounds to the head, but yet HE bought the heroin, HE loaded the syringe, and HE watched her overdose, and SMILED at HIM then died???!?!?! Yeah, sounds eerily similar to what happened with Wesley Hadsell, and Angelica....still refuses to admit he killed her, and hasn't been charged with her murder.... Medical examiner only said overdose....

At least they have fragments from the gunshots, and hopefully will find the gun they came from. Valerie didn't deserve this! I notice the timeframe for her death is the same day she was informed he was having an affair, the same day her phone no longer worked, and the last time she was seen.

This guy isn't smart, which is good for investigators. Did he really think he say he was at Walmart 5 days after her death, and that no cameras would be at Walmart??? Really???

She's just as narcissistic as he is. Who "falls in love" & introduces the new step daddy after a few days? I mean, the entire "relationship" was at the MAX 4 damn weeks! Sorry. I'm just floored at all the victim playing/blaming in this entire story. The only sefless, caring person lost her life bc she was exactly that. Also, his so called mother needs to be in the jail cell right beside him! JMO.

Yet according to the court document, they went to stay with some friends because his sister was coming to stay at the house, and Luc and/or Valerie didn't like the sister, or the sister didn't like them, so they wanted out before she came to visit.

At any rate, I think her finding out about his 'history' of flirting, and affairs, and the lying had probably been the last straw for Valerie, she confronted him, probably did state she was going to leave him, or wanted to leave him, and he killed her. Heroin may or may not come into play. If it used it, maybe to subdue her so he could shoot her or hoping she was die of an overdose, and she didn't, so he shot her. He wasn't going to let her leave him. IMO.

So sad. Some of these men will not accept a divorce. Whether they feel rejected, or it's a control issue, I don't know.

The part where he said that she smiled at him and died, sends shivers up my spine. He is a real piece of work. I hope he never sees the light of day again!
