We’re happy you are here.
We are a friendly community of folks interested in true crime.
Be sure to check out the Terms of Service, aka The Rules.
They are linked at the bottom of my signature on this post. The Rules are comprehensive, but intentionally strict. Websleuths is considered the gold standard in true crime discussion forums because we don’t allow the “anything goes” approach you find on most other areas of the internet. Websleuths is FACT-BASED and VICTIM FRIENDLY, AND The Rules here uphold that.
If you have any questions about The Rules or Websleuths procedures and policies, it’s best to ask our excellent volunteer moderators. You can submit those queries to them by clicking the REPORT link at the bottom of any post. Moderators will see that and are happy to address your questions.

You’ll find a number of members from your area, in addition to those from all over the globe.

There are hundreds of cases discussed on Websleuths, and thousands of members making posts.
It is a dynamic forum for sure, and you will always find something that catches your interest.
As a new member, it is a good idea to poke around and explore the different subject areas you find here. It is helpful to spend a few weeks just reading to familiarize yourself with the Websleuths “style “. There are also the Websleuths Terms of Service aka The Rules that spell out the guidelines of what can be posted. Look those over so that you can join the discussions successfully.
