  For real! I mean who in the world would pick up 2 men. Well, I think I have seen a pic of JBeans boy and that would pretty much explain it. :blushing:

Ahhh, so that explains it! :p

Nonetheless, it's still pretty stoopid and not something a woman thinking rationally would or should do. That's why I wonder if she was drunk.

But I am wondering if he has gotten a DUI. because the grid doesn't say you would face up to 6 months in jail on a first offense.??

here is the CA DUI penalty grid, by offense.
http://www.kandblaw.com/penalty_chart.html

Now this article says and i have hard it reported that he could spend up to 6 months in jail if convicted of this offense.
>>If convicted, Gibson faces up to six months in jail, the district attorney's office said<<

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=nation_world&id=4416626

So cripes..can we gather he has been convicted before? that would be bad.I really hope not, i really do.
okay in reading at that site there can be so many variations, it would be tough to tell if this is a second offense, so i am going to believe it is his first!

>>The California DUI penalties & punishments listed below are based on a non-enhanced DUI (Driving Under the Influence) conviction. If there are any "aggravating" factors, then the penalties & punishments are significantly increased. Those factors can include, a child in the car (under 14), speeding, driving on a suspended or restricted license, accidents, high blood alcohol content (over .20), etc<<

actually, i know more than a few folks that will call a cab, when they've had too much to drink...more people should do the same..

Well you know some very exceptional drunks then. Most people who reach the point of needing to call a cab are the ones who will swear they can drive.
Logic and reasoning go out the window as the level of intoxication rises.

wouldn't you think that by now the media would have dug up all, if any, other DUI's he's had?

"Yes this man deserves no recognition for deserving anything as a human being."
IMO, he's merely another Hollywood Actor or similar "celebrity" who misbehaves (dangerously in his case) and it's my humble opinion that he has yet to deserve his place on any pedestal for making some movies that I liked and some that I did not like so well.

I havent watched many of his movies since the Road Warrior days. It is simply my opinion that a person is a celebrity second and a human being first. I was referring to him as simply that and believe every person should be treated with some dignity even when they fall regardless of their position in life. By his achievements in life I wasnt referring to any movies hes made I was referring to his family.
There is a mentality in this world that because someones is famous they do not deserve any consideration or compassion. The only one who Mel Gibsons words hurt is Mel Gibson. If he has those thoughts its his soul that is eaten. he hasnt victimized anyone jumping on this bandwagon and is certainly not going to learn the error of his ways by being destroyed, That simply fosters more hate.

LOL, well i never thought it that way, but i guess you could say they are "exceptional drunks"....

i've been known to get intoxicated every now & then, myself...i don't drink & drive...use too, but haven't in several years, after having a car wreck..i'm very thankful i never hurt or killed anyone on the roads..

The guy in charge at the PD is friends with Mel. They let him off a few times before. Officer Mee wasn't as kind.

I just seen some video clips off Mel that night. I think it was him at the bar because it looks like he has a bottle in his hand.

They never drink and drive. I know that because if they cannot get a cab or a ride from a friend, guess who they call at 3 am?

No she didn't. She was just a laid back Laguna Beach local without a care in the world.

Hey I will tell my son when he gets older if he drinks to call me as well. My father did that for me and my bros too.
