I'm thinking that they are BOTH doo-doos! She may have set him up, but he allowed her to do so. How long have they been together? 3 years? He probably had a good idea what she was capable of. And I'm sorry - I don't care how angry she made him or what she did to him, he should have never said some of the things he said to her. I mean really - "....burn your house down, bury you in the rose garden, I deserve to be blown...blah, blah, blah" really. He's just as much of jerk as she might be. It takes two to tango!

I feel sorry for all his kids - all of them. And I feel sorry for Robin too. I can't imagine having that much history with someone, and then find out that he is running off with some crazy woman who does this. He seemed to have had a nice life with Robin at one time. Personally I think he probably left the marriage for Oksana. I wonder if he ever regrets leaving Robin?

You can't always believe what you read on Wiki, but I got my info from Wiki - by looking up Timothy Dalton and then Oksana. Both pages say they were married after meeting each other on a film where she worked as a translator.

In this case I don't believe the wiki. For one, she goes by Oksana Grigorieva, not Oksana Dalton.

I'm not sure what to believe, but you can't just go by her last name. Jennifer Anniston never went by Jennifer "Pitt" when she was married to Brad. Just saying. Lots of ladies keep their own name - especially performers and actresses.

It really doesn't make me feel good knowing the judge apparently allows Mel unsupervised visitations and overnight visits with a very young child. It certainly doesn't look to me that Mel is in a good place right now based on his taped rants, and he clearly appears to be extremely angry at the mother of the child.
So why would a judge allow unsupervised visitation and overnight visits?

Apparently Gibson's ex's testimony was good enough for the judge. I would do the same thing in her shoes, tell what I know for either side. In this case, it just so happens that it was in favor of MG.

The visits with Gibson may very well be supervised, but perhaps Oksana got a well-deservered rap on the knuckles for her leaky ways and nobody is talking about it.

If visitation is not supervised, I'm guessing:

1) The evidence against Gibson (photos, recordings) was not compelling.

2) The judge was so star struck by Gibson and/or dazzled by his defense team that he/she foolishly put a child him harms way, despite overwhelming evidence. ( I really doubt this one)

3) Gibson was leaving the country (rumors of a return to Australia or perhaps promises of rehab?) and would have no contact with the child and so the judge left visitation alone to allow Gibson to save face and to give Okasana the FU fingernail for leaking questionable evidence to the media and subjecting her children to media scrutiny.

IMO, they should both be launched into space in separate rockets. At the very least we should pass a law that prohibits angry drunks and grifters from procreating.

It does not look like Gibson is going to Australia. I guess we couldn't be that lucky.

Actually it's tmz that appears to be backing off from their original claims. First it was sources connected to dentist claim dentist does not believe Oksana was hit on the mouth. Now it's representative of the dentist says the dentist believes Oksana was hit on the mouth. Well actually the dentist will apparently say she was hit twice-once on the side of the head and once on the mouth. TMZ also claims Oksana walked away from 15 million $ deal. I am guessing that's where Gibsons' claim of extortion come from. But since lawyers were involved in the deal, which then she walked away from, I am also guessing claims of extortion aren't going to stand up to scrutiny.

I don't know him personally, gitana, and you may well be right that he has changed.

But he was being just as nasty about gay people 20 years ago.

Friends of his such as Jodie Foster say Gibson can be a good friend, but I suspect the only change is that he ran into a few people (Malibu police and the mother of his latest child) who weren't afraid to take him on.

(Edited to clarify that I didn't mean Jodie Foster is lying. Gibson may be a good friend to many, for all I know. It has long been my impression, however, that underneath all that talent (and let's face it: beauty when he was young), the hatred for all sorts of people has always been there.)

I just don't know what to say anymore. The story just keeps getting worse, Mel keeps getting wierder, and Oksana keeps getting more unfathomable.

What I don't get is she keeps saying she is saving the life of her child and that she signed a paper. But that paper appears to have been a short form settlement. So he's good enough to keep the tapes quiet and take his money, but at a certain point, he's a "monster" and she has to save her child(ren).
So the kids weren't good enough to save until she wasn't satisfied with the settlement.

I'm not defending HIM...there's no defense for his behavior. But I'm not getting her "logic".
