So, the defense thinks Kronk waded out into snake infested smelly swamp water and took the bag?

Judge: "That's the defense's theory."

Yep. That sounds about right. File right next to "Zanni and her sister knocked my client down, kidnapped the baby, and gave KC a 30 day script to follow." All part of the "reasonable explanation that will come out at trial." :waitasec:

The photo of a rattlesnake...doesnt seem to have been in that area. The snake appeared to be on a black road or ashphalt. So they paid him for a photo of a random rattlesnake? Can anyone clear that one up? confused here, maybe need that second cup of coffee...am I missing something?

I guess I had my head turned when the snake picture was shown...

The Judge's wife is the conflict. She is working with the Baez team.
Kronk didn't take the bag......is he nuts.

Also, did anyone catch that he said that HE used to be a bounty hunter? I thought that was interesting...

He said that in this interview?

Caylee's body was about 30 or so feet from the road.

Maybe the dead snake was found in the road- or maybe they moved it into the road to take a picture.

I think it has already been discussed on his thread, that he was once a bounty hunter...

I started this thread, so that we could discuss after RK's interview tomorrow morning.

What do you guys think of the part about him selling limited licensing of the photo of the area where the remains were located? Any comments on that?

Serious disappointment! Can no one just be a hero?

That is crazy... the defense is grasping at straws...

It's chitty - but we have to suffer through this kind of stuff from both sides it seems. Pitiful.

Gosh, I'm the one who started this thread ... and I end up oversleeping, good thing I taped it.

He's very honest and forthcoming, but I wish they would have asked him about the photo. Was it just of a snake? Any link on that?

As for believing him completely? Well, I guess I've been a bit jaded in life, by being burned so much ... so I'll just keep an open mind.

It WAS a short interview though ... wonder if he'll do anymore.

He said that in this interview?

Yes, he was listing some of the things he has done as jobs and this was part of what he said.

Ya cause we all know how common it is to find a bag with a dead body in it and take it home to see what else we can find and then take it back to where we found it and then call the cops three times....:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thats what everyone would do silly! Get your prints and hair and who knows what else on it and call LE three times. Yea like that wouldn't be shocking or life changing. Jeez what he did see and find was traumatic enough without toting it home.

That is the stupidest and far reaching nuttyness someone could say.

Both sides? Please point me to where anyone in the states case has said anything that is as nutty as the defense and the A;s attorneys spew {one a daily basis I might add).

Well I am up at 4 a.m. only to discover ABC is in some sort of Poop Throwing Monkey War with Dish Network and as such Dish cannot broadcast ABC anymore. :banghead:

LOL at the Poop Throwing Monkey War. Isn't that some new reality show on National Geographic? I'd watch it!

The picture of the snake was shown in the "intro" to the interview. It was identified as a picture that RK took. It was a picture of a LIVE ratttlesnake, but it was not in the woods. It appeared to be on asphalt or a black flat piece of plastic.

A couple of things / observations I got from watching the brief interview:

  • When he (and possibly a co-worker) stumbled across the suspicious bag in August, it was in the water. It was seeing the bag, knowing what the swamp smelled like, and the proximity to the Anthony home that caused him to call in the tip.

  • We all know he persisted until an officer met him at the location.

  • By Kronk's account, the officer claimed he did not see anything suspicious and probably did not want to wade into the swamp. Kronk thought the officer was perhaps a little rude to him.

(In defense of the officer, we don't know how many crank calls and pointless tips had been responded to at that point, and he probably knew the general area had already been searched / cleared. He may really have not seen anything that stood out to him amidst all the other garbage in the area).

  • After that, Kronk basically shrugged his shoulders and (in my words) said "whatever."

  • Kronk did not visit area in November during his route.

  • Stumbled upon bag in December when he took a nature break. Did not come out and say it was precisely the same bag. He did say it was basically the same location as before.

  • Sounded like if he had it to do all over again he would not.
OK, I was on a treadmill playing hamster at the time and it was noisy - did I get that pretty much right?
