Well I am up at 4 a.m. only to discover ABC is in some sort of Poop Throwing Monkey War with Dish Network and as such Dish cannot broadcast ABC anymore. :banghead:

If some kind soul decides to record the interview I would be ever so grateful for the heads up and a tiny trail of crumbs to follow. :innocent:

*crawls back to bed cursing abc*

Don't curse ABC, get rid of the DISH network!!! Direct TV rocks!!! and you can get ABC east and West so if you miss Good Morning America at 7 am, see it again at 10am!!

I think Mr. Kronk did fine with the interview. He seemed honest, had understandable reasons for looking in that area as well as being concerned with Caylee and what was right. He didn't like the way LE had treated him and that is unfortunate it happened that way. He is getting raked over the coals and he has a right to speak out - which he did. Plenty of kooks trashing him all over the place. If he wants money ... based on today, I say show the man the money.

Money is going to keep flowing whether anyone likes it or not. Right or wrong.

Did he say bounty hunter or bailbondsman?

I thought I heard bailbondsman.

He said he was both. He phrased it, "bailbondsman/bounty hunter".

I like RK. He is down to earth and believable.

It makes alot of sense to me that he would be on the look out for anything unusal in his area, and that he would go back to look again in December. He was in the Coastguard and a Bounty Hunter/bail bondsman and worked in the A's neighbourhood, I would find it unusal if he HADNT been on the look out for anything suspicious...

It wouldnt suprise me if he was a sluether or someone who followed true crime (just like so many of us)and therefore recognised the Suburban area as the perfect location for KC to do what she did. Good on RK for his instincts.

Yep, ITA....I just saw it here in central time, very down to earth.

LP needs to 'snip' the MR from his 'daisy chain'.

I still want to know who the Det. was that responded to the scene with Kronk. Well Officer I should have said.

OK, but here's where I am iffy....

RK is a:

  • former bounty hunter/bailbondsman
  • unusual kidnapping in past
  • called several times in the past
  • wants to remain anonymous and tells 911 so
How did LE clear him so completely in 24 hours? IIRC, they were saying the MR was NOT a suspect really early in, even before 24 hours they were putting out that he was just a normal Joe, doing his job. That was suspicious to me that day and it still bugs me now.

I am *NOT* saying MR was bad/evil/had mean intent/really deserved his kidnapping record. I think he is a nice guy in a bad place.

But I think it would make a lot more sense that they got a full and different story from him on December 11 about why he was there, checked that out and cleared him. Otherwise I can't see how LE would write him off as a suspect so quickly.

Please don't bash me now:)
Do you notice that he's wetting his lips only when asked about delicate things like the kidnapping charges and finding the bag?
This is only me but I find him even more strange after watching this. He's hiding something.moo

It doesn't take LE that long (especially if they have FBI on hand with their resources) to check someone out.

Plus - the big pink elephant in the room is RK was never in, around, or KC's car!!!!!!

His work schedule was easily verified as to where he was on specific days as well.

Nope - IMO very easily and quickly cleared.

so did this clear anything up?

so did this clear anything up?

For me, it places the focus back where it belongs: In the ORANGE COUNTY JAIL AND Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle on Hopespring drive.

Kronk breaks his silence VIDEO

(FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE INTERVIEW THIS AM)

Thank you Tangerinemoon! Our satellite is out due to icce this morning! And I wanted to see this. :blowkiss:

This poor man is sorry that he ever got involved in this circus! I don't blame him a bit, either. I believe his story, and I don't for one minute think he is involved in any way!
He found Caylee's precious remains over a month ago now, and the poor baby is still in a box, by her self, without any services, and burial! Sad, very sad.

I am really starting to wonder if all this mess with the P.I's and the Meter Reader is not a plot by the Defence to create reasonable doubt. This twisted case is just getting so out of hand I really fear it's going to end up in a mistrial and Casey will walk free. I pray that is not the case! Something needs to happen to end this mess. Just so sick..and poor Caylee STILL HAS NOT BE BURIED! NOW it said that she may even be cremated. But no word on her Memorial except that Padilla is not invited. Who really cares who is invited at this point? Just lay the child to rest already! This case has been about the Anthony's since day one, not once have I ever heard any of them begging and crying for whom ever they claimed kidnap her to bring her home...Why? Because they knew she was dead and have been doing nothing for Caylee, all for Casey and her defence. What I don't understand is that the only real "Victim" is Caylee, the Anthony's love Caylee so much but they will not stand up for her....that is why I say, they must of all known since day one! "JMO":furious:

The interview with RK was a very thorough interview and he was very believable. No outlandish conspiracy theory, disclosed all his prior baggage, and I like him because he said something to the effect of just wanting the little girl (Caylee) to have a proper funeral. Finally, someone not making this about himself but he did this for Caylee. Pay the man his money. Former bounty hunter, Coast Guard, or kidnapper at least his heart is in the right place. One great interview for the good guys. Justice for Caylee!

As a side note, he said he was trying to put help this little child and see that she got a decent burial.

I bet he is as :furious: about the cardboard box situation as everyone else.

Thank you Patty G for the video! I hope you know how much many of us appreciate your continuance efforts to keep the show videos up for us all to see!:blowkiss:

I feel so much better about Kronk this morning. I am convinced that people with nothing to hide, hide nothing.
I was mighty upset last night thinking it was possible he was selling any photos, today, I am happy with his interview.
He is a good citizen, Caylee's hero, nothing more, nothing less!

I think LE wants everyone to know they don't automatically suspect the messenger in every case, otherwise, if they did, no one would come forward with evidence. That's not to say they don't check out everyone to be on the safe side, but they don't routinely cuff them and throw away the key within 24 hours..

In today's world, it's not very difficult to find the lowdown on anyone. Computers, public records and legal records make it quite easy, especially for law enforcement, and it's particularly easy when someone like the MR comes right out and tells them of his previous arrest and appearance before a grand jury. In the MR's case, they knew exactly who to call and where to look for info.

I thought he came across extremely well (a little prior briefing, I'm sure) with no "bounty hunter/bail bondsman" roughness. He seemed frank, honest, and extremely sympathetic to little Caylee's plight, something her very own grandparents haven't shown.

I'm sure he was as honest as he appeared. He did a good thing. Why beat him up for it?
