Yes, hire a PI to find her in China.
Good chance she is there
I think there is a good chance JR has been duped

Like you mean the whole Corona truck thing was orchestrated by Jenny? Or do you mean something else?

If she's gone home, I don't think her friends would help and I wonder if he has any friends still in China who would help.

  • #542
she could very well have hopped a ride on a corona truck. Im saying given the littlee we do know, its my speculation there is about an equal chance of her being deceased as there is her having gone back to china. Her seemingly erratic behavior makes that a strong possibility in my speculation.

I think she posted the rape comment to either get Jr worried or to see if he would immediately go down there at that second and rescue her.

It just seems like she may have felt like it was time to move on and only took the clothes she came to America with.

Because a backpack for a 3 country trip is insane.

Anyways like Lilibet said. Johnny left Mexico to quick for our taste. So he probably felt something as well. He probably left a lot of angry voicemails and texts as well and doesn't want the policia to uncover that they were having a rocky relationship.

Anyways, Jmo to keep hope alive.

Or how about duped by the PI and the attorney ...?

Are they even in the picture still??

Oh wow. That P.I has me scratching my head as well. Lol

Because. Why did it take a poster on Facebook to post the drivers Facebook page on Helpfindjenny last week.

But Jonathan didn't even know about the drivers Facebook page even existed.

Plus he sounded like that was his first time seeing what the driver looked like. But he knew the name and job was correct and said thats him.

So how could the P.I find 2 witnesses in a Oaxaca haystack.

But he couldn't find the suspects Facebook page.

Lol.

Somebody is duping us. But I just don't know who.

Either Jenny or the witness or johnny or the p.i or the driver or LE or the Chinese Embassy or someone.

Lol.

Thanks JerseyGirl for starting this boggling thread a year ago. Lol

Who shot JR -Dallas-

Lol.

So Jonathan now knows that a Chinese social media account was started in Jennys prime social media username.

But he still hasn't updated the investigation of if that was actually Jenny that started that account?

Hmmm.

Now let me prove it.

Google jennycqd and see that Jenny is the only person with that username.

Now I already ran through 20 Google search pages for jennycqd. And guess what. Only our Jenny is under that name.

So why is Jonathan not updating on who the jennycqd person that started a account on a Chinese speaking social media forum 2 weeks after the supposed Corona heist.

But then this person never posted after signing up under her notorious username?

Come on.

Jenny. Where are you? And why has Jonathan not updated of following up on that massive lead?

Muchassen by proxy maybe?

I always travel with a backpack, regardless of how long I go for, or how many countries. Seems normal to me.

JR probably left when he did because if he hadn't returned to his job he would have been in danger of loosing it. He also likely thought he would be able to do more from the US with help from his own government...in his own country where he could speak the language.

Yes, it is hard to understand how a PI that JR described as being one of the best in Mexico wasn't able to easily supply JR with photos and address of their suspect. JR told the person on Facebook that found the driver that she had done more than anyone to help find JR's wife. Five months after it was suggested here on Websleuths that they try and get the detailed GPS data from the tracking company, JR breaks the news on Facebook that they are doing this. It took the best PI in Mexico five months longer to suggest that, than it took an amateur here. Something seems very wrong with all of this.

In recent years, there have been over 200 journalists murdered in Mexico. I have no doubts that the type of people doing this could also dissuade a PI from making too much progress on a case.

Web. Usually I agree with you. But nobody would fly to another country to meet their spouse. But leave that quickly once realizing that something was wrong. Jmo.

I'm with Dex on this one, and I'm usually more in agreement with Web. :) His employer has been very cooperative with his many trips to Mexico, so I doubt they would fire him for staying a little longer in Mexico to look for his missing wife. It's possible to contact everyone he needed to talk to in the U.S. from Mexico, and working with LE and other authorities in Mexico would be much easier to do while he was there (hire a translator). I'm not usually one to judge people just because they do things I wouldn't do, but in this instance I am. To leave so quickly is senseless and bizarre IMO. I'm not saying it's suspicious, but it really is NOT something a normal husband would do. If he suspected that Jenny had ditched him and stood him up, it makes more sense, even though I still think it was wrong.

As a side note, I would like to know who reported Jenny missing first...her family in China or JR. She told JR she would be out of reach while traveling to Cancun. Did she tell her Mom the same thing?

Bbm.

Exactly.

Spouse missing while you flew to another country to meet your spouse for a lovely dovey getaway.

But you leave that quickly once you realize that your spouse was a no show?

Hmmmm

Now I wonder if he would have did the same thing if his skiing female friend/partner was a no show for that skiing trip profile pic that he still has up as if they are brother and sister.

Hmmm

Jmo for now.

Btw. That lady in his profile pic doesn't have him in her profile pic. And even if she did.

I doubt she would have kept it up if her spouse was missing while asking for go fund me help. Jmo.

Especially a year later while posting about wanting justice for said spouse. Jmo.

So imo. Why should we take Johnny seriously about missing his missing wife?

Especially while his facebook profile pic still shows another gal?

Wow.

Who would do that.

Jmo.

So imo.

Jhonny seems to have no thoughts or possibly other thoughts.

Jmo.

Btw. I'm sure that the woman in his facebook profile pic is probably thinking the same thing.

Jmo.

1) I don't think it is a sure thing. Correct me if I am wrong: I think JR stayed in Cancun for some days before returning to the US. I think he stayed longer than he had planed to, if Jenny had arrived. He might have been out of, or low on, money. There could be other reasons for his returning to the US. As I stated previously, it could have been due to his job. It also could have been that he wanted to contact someone he knew for help, like CN, and needed to return to get that contact info. He might have needed to return home in order to contact Jenny's Chinese family (to get their contact info). He needed to start a GoFund me site...I don't know if that is something he could have done from Mexico, or if he would have needed to do it from home.

2) I believe when I recently reread the Chinese Embassy news release, it quoted Jenny's brother as saying that JR had contacted Jenny's Chinese family to report her missing to them.

The above quoted statement is my interpretation of the Google translation quoted in Post #406 on Page 28 of this thread's Part 3. A post made by member GigTu. This is the Google translation found in that post:

"Chen Qun Dan's brother, Mr. Chen said his sister lost a few days after his husband, Jonathan Johnson and Wenzhou family contact, we know that the accident happened."

Thanks Web. You're probably right about why JR went home. I'm sure I'm being overly cranky about him leaving Mexico, but it's an accumulation of his odd, unproductive behavior that just bugs me...after a long year. Go back to thread #1 to see the pattern. I feel for the guy. No one should have to go through this. It's been a long year for all of us. :(

It is very weird. The actions stilll make me uneasy but I'm not in his shoes so.....I just keep trying to have an open mind

He was scheduled to stay in Mexico from April 15 to April 20. He stayed in Mexico from April 15 to April 20, then he returned to the US on schedule, and immediately set up a fundraising campaign, to find her.

I had planned to meet with her on April15th in Cancun for a nice 5 day vacation. She was located in Oaxaca and planned to travel across Mexico to meet me in Cancun -this was April 11th, and the last time any of her friends and family talked to her.
Jenny never arrived in Cancun, and has never heard from since.

From June last year:

This is what Jonathan just posted about the family trip on the help find jenny page in the comment section of the buzzfeed post.

Thank you (poster). Jenny's family traveled to Mexico 2 weeks ago and met with the Oaxaca police. Oaxaca police basically told them a bunch of Lies and wasted their time. It was good media propaganda for the police. The worst thing about it the Chinese media also used it as propaganda since they are government audited. Jenny's family believe that Jenny is traveling on no money and has not contacted anyone for the last two months, and is wondering the high deserts of Mexico. This story has more to do with praise of the government and the police then the true facts. The worst thing about it most of the Chinese overseas believe it. Let's talk about how you can help me with PR because I truly need it. thank you!

another post:

I posted the link earlier. It originated from the Chinese Embassy of Mexico site. http://mx.china-embassy.org/chn/lsfw1/t1371117.htm
However, JR has said: "The Oaxaca police put on quite a show for Jenny's parents." He called the information wild and silly rumors (see his comment under the news report). http://nwasianweekly.com/2016/06/hus...ril-in-oaxaca/

He did file a police report while in Cancun, mentioned here:

http://helpfindjenny.weebly.com/

I also recall a missing poster with the report number, I can't seem to find it buried in the three threads.

Found some:
"Numero de Denuncia: Expediente 108/RDNOL/2016 en 'DNOL' (Unidad de busqueda de personas no localizadas) en Oaxaca, Oax; Fiscal Lic. Adan Jairo Garcia B."
