Police: Missing Detroit Woman May Be In Brighton Area

Detroit police are asking for help locating a 64-year-old woman who went missing last week on the city's west side.

Police say April Bean was last seen around 9 a.m. Friday in the 9200 block of Faust Street, in the area of Joy Road and the Southfield Freeway.

Her son told police that he spoke to relatives who advised him that Bean maybe in the Brighton area.

Bean was last seen wearing a light gray wool cap, gray fleece sweatshirt, medium purple leggings, green socks and fuchsia sandals. A physical description was not provided.

Anyone who sees Bean or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department's Sixth Precinct at 313-596-5600.
