We need someone on this thread who is good at digging up old real estate records to find out where Arthur Ream owned property. He owned a lot of real estate according to the Cindy documentary. I'm glad to hear they are not giving up but I had hoped they would at least continue searching the 24 acres this week. If I were family of the missing girls I would want to be out there with metal detectors going over every inch of the property. Since Ream buried Cindy with her purse and some jewelry he may have buried the other girls with things that could be picked up by metal detectors. JMO.
https://www.clickondetroit.com/news...rch-for-human-remains-ends-in-macomb-townshipMACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Sears, Michigan, is a small community in Osceola County that's dotted with farms and doesn't have a large downtown area.
Authorities know Arthur Ream, who is connected to a search for the bodies of teenage girls in Macomb Township, spent time in Sears and owned property in the community.
<snip>
The Local 4 Defenders sent up a drone over the area that court documents show Ream used to own. There are cabins in the area that sit near a campsite right next to a lake.
Investigators are wondering if there could be bodies buried on the property, which was even more desolate decades ago. Sources told Local 4 Defender Karen Drew that digging in Sears could be a possibility as officials try to solve the cold cases.
None of the people around the property this week said they remembered Ream.
Another possible place for a dig could be in Gladwin County, according to court paperwork.
Ream took a 13-year-old girl -- one of five girls between the ages of 12 and 15 that he was accused of sexually attacking -- to his cabin in Gladwin County, where he furnished alcohol to her and sexually assaulted her, according to court documents. Ream pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual conduct in the case.
Families allowed to dig for missing loved ones in Macomb Township
Remains found could impact chain of custody

Law enforcement sources call the move "unusual," raising the question, does allowing family members to dig on what was a possible crime scene spoil the scene and any evidence found?
"I can understand the desire to give victim's family the ability to dig because, no doubt, if it were my child I'd want to go in there and dig with my hands," said former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade.
However, McQuade said if anything is found by a family member, the chain of custody for that evidence will be challenged in court by a defense attorney. There will have to be proof that the evidence wasn't planted.
"Without that carefully handled protocol for chain of custody, it could be problematic to admit it in court," McQuade said.
Those searching have been instructed by police to notify investigators immediately in the event of finding anything.
I would keep digging to.JMHO-- finding the girls is more important than chain of evidence at this point. Ream is already in prison for life. Additional convictions won't change anything unless he gets tried at the federal level and gets the death penalty that way. And I don't think it will be a big deal as long as the family stops digging and calls police as soon as something is found. Forensics should be able to tell if something was in that particular soil for decades or if it had been moved there recently from elsewhere. I think it's wonderful the families are being allowed back on the property to dig in this case. I would not give up searching if this was my sister. I would be there every free moment. JMO.
Do you think he could be responsible for these?

Have they dug up any bodie?Ive always had a feeling that Castigliones and Louiselles cases were done by the same person(s). No smoking gun or anything, just based on my untrained eye looking at time frame, area and similar situation (opportunities). With that said, Nadine ODells case appears similar as well.
Would not be surprised if Ream was connected to all or some of these cases. Hes shown to have been well traveled throughout Metro Detroit and even the state itself.
Scary times in Michigan and Metro Detroit in the 70s and 80s for children/teens and woman.

Wouldn't they have compared Ream's DNA to all the cold cases on file by now? Or would they need probable cause to do that for each individual case? I would think if any of these cold cases have a suspect's DNA in the system it should have matched Reams automatically if his DNA is on file too. But I don't know how automatic it has gotten for murder cases. JMO.
Does anyone know the extent of how far he travelled?
