The 7 yr old is I, but they drop the first part and just call her A if you look at the mother FB page.

Has anyone else noticed how may some of these kids are actually named after him in some form? Also the name of the youngest A.....more of DL's inflated ego?

I hadn't noticed that with their names - other than Jr. SB, mother of "I" is very upset, and asking her friends and family to pray for Bianca, her 'daughter's little sister'.

Sadly it goes back to any kind of father is better than no father type of mentality. When parenting takes so much more than being there and occupying space. It takes patience and selflessness, two things which D'Andre is clearly incapable of providing.


Now he is hiding behind further imaginery circumstances.

Anyone can google carjacking and a child in the car. Even in the last 7-14 days, each incident in which this occured the child was found almost immediately. In each instance the parent attempted to fight the abductor and save their child. A parent, a TRUE parent, would lay down their life for a child. Not D'Andre. Instead he made it clear he would be willing to sacrifice his childs life for his own - and he honestly feels he has provided a justifiable reason for doing so.

And it is Christmas time, and he chooses this route as the example for all of his children, all of his family and all of his peers.

I keep thinking about that song, you're not a man, you are a mouse or something like that. It's an older song. Haven't heard it for ages.

The man should just fess up. Be honest and truthful for what this really is. He lost his temper, his child died, he panicked, he did not mean to do this. Make himself a deal, agree to plead guilty for a lesser sentence and lead authorities to his daughter. Anything short of that and this useless piece of flesh occupying space and taking up air doesn't even deserve to breath the same air the rest of us do.

It's kind of odd that he talks about a cushion "taped" on it - if you want to give a toddler a quick pop (and I'm not opposed to that), you just pop them on a diapered bum with your hand to get their attention.

Padding a paddle? Weird.

Honestly, though, he does come off as believable to me. I'm inclined to believe him when I hear him speak.

He does sound believable when he speaks. I guess that is why he has THREE 2 yr old children with 3 different women. That took a whole lot of smooth talking to make that happen.

In the video that shows the nephew's interview, it was reported that LE said that the night before Bianca went missing, DL had beaten her with a stick. I think he made his own paddle. You can call anything a 'paddle.

Dl said it was not a big paddle, and I wondered what it must take to kill a child with a little paddle.

I remember in high school, the boys use to get hit with paddles that had holes drilled in them - extra painful. moo

JMO...D'Andre was probably "minimizing" the size of the paddle to make it sound like it wasn't a "big deal".

I hadn't seen the above interview until now, but I still have a hard time believing any explanations given by DL. He has turned his interviews into self-promotions, it's not about Bianca, it is about changing other people's perceptions of him. As to "that paddle", I think that if a paddle had been used on Bianca to the extent that she became unconscious, it would have been disposed of as soon as she became very very sick. It may have had her blood on it. Since he had mentioned a paddle earlier, he now has to rescue himself and described it as thin with something taped to it for padding. This one he describes might in all probability be something newly fashioned with an intent of downplaying the brutality of "spanking" a two-year-old with a paddle. The new paddle won't appear to be a weapon, naturally it will appear harmless, because DL said he would never hurt one of his children. When someone uses an object to spank a child, with the intention of teaching the child a lesson, that is not parenting, that is abuse. Bianca had just turned two, so how was she supposed to be potty trained in a new environment . Now I wonder if he was allowed to keep Bianca for a bit, to potty train her in his magical way. What an awful mistake that was if there was something like this implied in how he was going to keep her for another month. Poor little sweetie.

I see completely what you're saying, but I don't think that's necessarily true.

Back in my day, there is NO WAY I'd have sex with a man who was seeing other women. NO WAY. I think all of us in my age group would say the same thing - in the 35-55 age range an older - but it's not the same thing now. Women are not demanding monogamy, and are quite willing to even TRY HARD, even using medical help, to get pregnant with a man who isn't committed to them in the least.

Just watched this video and TL answering the reporter's questions and IMO, he is lying, lying under pressure, but still lying. Eyes darting back and forth and continually licking his lips and swallowing hard. You could almost see his heart beating. I realize that any kid would be nervous during this type of interview and under these circumstances but I still believe him to be lying.:twocents:

He hesitated before answering if he were lying...like it was hard to get the words out.
