I hope that Banika comes to terms with the reality that little Bianca is dead and that she won't be coming home alive and well. I hope DL gives up the location of his daughter's body so Mother and family can have closure.

I have some errands to run this morning but plan to be back home for the arraignment that should be carried live or livestreamed by local media.

Thank you Jesus!! I literally got up and danced a jig. I'm so glad he's been charged...and now I'm hoping for justice for the wee one. His story was one of the worse, a bunch of mumbled, twisted BS that he spewed and thought he was going to get away with. ugh

Reporter- "Lanes defense attorney says he is surprised by the charges and is concerned that allegations without evidence will put his client at risk."

Wait, what? In the video it says that DL told the investigators that he was driving to Bianca's mother's house to get clothing for her. I thought he said he was driving to go and talk about his finances?

I believe we will hear about the abuse in the home and the child being "out of it" or unresponsive the next morning from someone who was in the home. Perhaps the other daughter who was supposed to have stayed there also or son/nephew that was in the car that morning.

Ok lets see what Nancy has to say.......

Additionally, we know that DL has anger issues, and I feel certain that all of his children and their respective mothers have experienced Lane's wrath at one time or another. If the teen boy or the daughter asked D'Andre about Bianca that morning or commented on her lethargy, etc. he probably told them to STFU - with threats. If they witnessed the disciplinary measures taken with Bianca during the time that she was with her dad, they probably knew that they'd be in big trouble, too, if they dared say a word about this. I feel certain that some of the women and/or children have talked to authorities about D'Andre's behaviors and their fears. :moo:

On another topic: Does anyone besides me find it odd that Banika is always wearing some type of heavy headcovering? In an interview from this morning, she appeared to be wearing a hooded winter jacket. It is quite warm in the "D" today - low 70s expected. When I left the house this morning, I didn't don a coat/jacket and wore flip-flops

And she was only a few days after her 2nd birthday. We heard something about this very early on. I forget the source, but remember reading an adult in the home the night prior to the alleged carjacking stated DL was 'disciplining' his child to the extent another adult had to ask him to stop.


I think D'Andre is going to be eating his words soon.

“I don’t understand why anybody would want to do anything like this,” Lane said, complaining about speculation that he was involved. “It’s one thing to have evidence, it’s another thing to have circumstantial evidence. If it’s not pertaining to my daughter coming home, it’s of no consequence to me.”

I did see an interview between last night and today where she had nothing on her head at all. I was quite surprised, but I suppose she is not worried much about her appearance these days. I don a hat myself most days so I dont have to worry about doing my hair.

Treveon Lane said he was with his uncle Dandre Lane, Bianca and two other children the night before and the morning when Bianca was reported missing by her father. Treveon Lane said he had just met Bianca earlier that week.

"(Bianca) was good. She was normal," Treveon Lane said. "My uncle carried her to the car, and my little cousin buckled her up. She was awake."

WWJ radio announced this morning that they would livestream the arraignment on their website, but there's nothing so far, and nothing on the radio, either. Maybe it's running late and will be on within the hour.
