I had a twinge for her also. But I would never have created a page like that on facebook. :what:

I noticed how she keeps saying she is going to take it down, and yet she doesn't. I feel like she wants to express herself because she is as devastated and confused as the rest of the community. She initially said she was there to support him, but now, she 'doesn't know anymore.' So sad all of the way around.

MOUNT PLEASANT, MI — A memorial service for 4-year-old Carnel Chamberlain will be held Sunday, July 15, at 2 p.m. at the Soaring Eagle Casino Concert Hall, family spokesman Kevin Chamberlain said.

The concert hall is the only local venue big enough to accommodate the large gathering expected, Chamberlain said.

Interesting that she is not happy with her kids, before Carnel went missing, and complaining about the kids and 'tribal money'.

Her son, now in jail, looks like he's juiced and that may be part of the problem. If you look at the mugshots,how large his neck and upper shoulders are, compared to Mom's FB, you don't get that from just lifting. IMHO

Bennett's court-appointed attorney is Anthony Chambers, who represented Umar Farouk Abdulmuttallab, the man sentenced to life in prison for trying to blow up a Detroit-bound airliner with a bomb hidden in his underwear. Chambers may have been chosen because of the attention the Chamberlain case has received.

SO this burns up a little boy within a window of 5 hours? AND places/buries the body under the porch during that time? Who was the last person to see Carnel alive outside of the mother and suspect?

It is my understanding that this is a no death penalty state, and if so, the court has a short list of death penalty qualified attorneys that it can appoint to the defense. Since it is a court appointed attorney I assume he is paid the current going rate for court appointed attorneys. I doubt that he was a privately hired attorney in the Underwear bomber's case either.

The picture on the cover of the morning sun... Jaimee totally looks pregnant. Makes sense, the baby would give them money. I am so glad I read the posts by Jaimees brother it really shed a new light on her for me. I heard also that the body was not just burned but cut up. The brother posted that they took him for only one month and Carnel was dead. Many think she took him back in may from her mother not only because they were in a fight but because in June they children's parents get their tribal money...

Does he have a history of sexual abuse? I think he burned the body to hide the fact that his physical abuse caused his death, but maybe he sexually abused him... That would be awful

I've debated whether to "go there". It's difficult to write and there are some here, who are sensitive and may not want to read ... If so, please don't go any further and skip over my post.

I beleive I saw the stovepipe on the house today in a news interview. The home is not a stick built, it is a mobile home. There is no fireplace, I think it's a woodstove. With that in mind, even if it's a large woodstove I don't think a body would fit in it. So what JFC said (dismemberment) is probably the truth. It also brings to mind what Jaimee said about the bathtub/bathroom carpeting.

That said, I'm sure there is plenty of forensic evidence, which will help in the case against AB.

Justice, I don't know if he was or not but it seems every day we are hearing even more horrific tales. I am not a member of the family, but, I am having a hard time with the facts of what Carnel had to endure and how the mother he trusted didn't do anything to help him. He was more than likely drowned, cut to pieces, burned and then buried. But who knows for sure. I have so many unanswered questions, as I am sure everyone else does, but the main one is why didn't anyone stop this. Sorry...just venting.

I hope her brother testifies at the trial. I hope she doesn't get away with trying the old " I was too afraid' to move out story in this case. I know that is often the case, but I don't think it was what happened here at all.

So, does anyone know of any sightings of Carnel after his Mom went to work, or is the last time he is seen before she left? I'm just thinking that it seems like it was an awful lot to do in just 5 hours.
