There is a WXYZ (Channel 7, Detroit) video posted 12 hours ago. Reporter says that LE will have an update on the case "tomorrow". Does this mean that there will be a presser sometime today? :waitasec: I don't see a date on the video, so I'm not sure when it aired.

ETA: The video link is from Nancy Grace show (HLN) on November 14. I'm not aware of a recent LE update. Has there been one?

I cannot find anything only the one dated Nov 4th.

This is so sad.

Where are you Chelsea?

For some reason around 5p yesterday EST Chelsea Bruck was trending #1 on Yahoo, I meant to check it out but then a couple of minutes later we lost power due to the snowfall and just got it back on.

I can't remember if this was addressed before but did it cost money to purchase a ticket to attend the party? If so, how was money collected? Also, was there more then one vendor selling items at the party? What type of payment did this individual(s) accept? Now, with technology just about anyone can accept debit/credit cards if they have a smartphone (via the Square product). This could be another avenue to determine actual attendees. I am sure this has already been reviewed...but you never know.

I can't positively answer your questions, Klynn. I am pretty sure there was no cost to go or park at the party. There was a food caterer (hot dog type, burgers maybe) --- don't know if that was free or for purchase, though I assume you bought your own. Haven't heard of other vendors.

Now for the good: Another fund raiser for the Crimestoppers reward fund being planned. Verna's Bar in Newport is having a spaghetti dinner fund raiser. Friday, Nov. 21, 4 pm, $10. (more info on the HelpFindChelseaBrick FB page). https://www.facebook.com/vernas.bar will be
coordinating raffles and other fundraisers for the night. If you have any baskets or other items that you can donate .

And the frustrating: Our local Dundee Kroger has a curled up missing flier on the service desk and one somewhere at their gas station. I took one in and asked if they would display it in a more prominent place. The "sub manager" would only agree to putting it in the Break Room. grrrr ... I was so frustrated that I left a message for the regular manager to call me this afternoon. If no luck with him, then I plan to call their Corporate office with the request or file a complaint.

In addition to that, if they could hone in on a concert goers from the June concert who may have similarities to the one's at the err, hefty ninja turtles concert, and do an internet history search of the one's that may be of interest with similarities to the POI, that may lead to something.

Thoughts and prayers that Chelsea Bruck may soon be found and brought home to her family, friends and community, to whom she is so dear.

A tweet from Chuck Jackson of WDIV says a woman's body was found in a backyard in Garden City. It also mentions she did not live there. https://twitter.com/Local4News

I pray it has nothing to do with this case. Although any loss of life is sad.

That's so good of you. I noticed that there is a chapter of Help Save the Next Girl at MU. Maybe posting the picture of the POI at community colleges, colleges and universities in Michigan surrounding states would be a good idea and they may be able to help get that done. Maybe even reaching out to the school publications. The POI definitely looks like he could be in college.

From the very first time I saw the picture, then that shirtless fellow, who started out in the video, you see the back of his head as he sits by the bar, then again in a tank top wiping something at the side of stage, then later shirtless in front of the stage. Not once do you see his face though, thick unusual glasses, at the June concert. I had a sense of affluence, sophistication, of being apart, observing and perhaps even recording the June concert. These are of course just wild guesses, so please consider them as such.

I just read that on WDIV website and the woman is said to be in her 40s. I posted the article on The Unidentified forum.

Thank goodness it's not Chelsea, however it is still someone's loved one. Its surprising how many other bodies come to light in search of a missing person. It has amazed me.... so sad. There is still hope for Chelsea 🤬🤬🤬

:wagon: all new members!

A friendly reminder to all regarding social media:

Social Networks

Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!

I thought it very interesting the dog had a micro chip which will help in ID of both of them!

Have any of you read comments on the Find CB FB page? There is a person whose commented and also has a post on her page saying she saw something that bothered her. I believe someone was trying to connect her with an Administrator because the page is closed (?)

  • #736
I saw it, dmc. I don't know what to make of it, tho. I believe she was asked to send info to the tip line, but there was no indication of what it was. Just something odd she saw "the other day"

  • #737
Yeah, that was me advising to send to the tip line.

Ida, MI is just south of party location and between Newport and Toledo, OH via Lewis Ave.

  • #738
That tip could be really important. We need to call it to the families attention!

  • #739
I tried to PM the Find Chelsea Bruck page a screen shot, but not sure if they get those. I am unable to tag a family member but there was someone in the feed that said they could reach family. No update to the comments feed. I hope this did get to the appropriate people.

I didn't catch it yesterday, I hadn't heard anything about it either but I am trying to follow up on it and see if the girls saw it/know anything about it. Generally if a comment gets removed it means one of the admins (normally me) has deleted it and forwarded it to law enforcement but I generally don't check the findchelseabruck facebook page as frequently.

Edit: Can you pm me a screenshot on facebook? I'm T Lee Bruck
