I think if I had seen these videos when my kids were still at home, they would still be locked in their bedrooms with no escape. And to think I once thought K.I.S.S. was insanely crazy.
The audience concert goers had all my focus watching the videos. I was kind of galled by the idea that the videos were promotional while Chelsea Bruck is still missing. It would be nice to know Big Mike made the raw footage available from the two cameras with side angles he seemed to have covering the band, and the ones that were floating in the audience, covering the band and the concert goers. There were so many people recording and taking pictures with their different kinds of devices. I hope they share all they have. You never know what can help.
The musicians seem very devoted to their art, the two guitar players and the drummer, though the sound is off at the slow speeds. Their concentration and the audience reaction is evidence of skill and practice. Interesting to see where peoples eyes and at times hands would go. The usual groupie or devotee and band interplay. Some of the young men slam dancing seemed pretty hyped up, but most people did not seem too spaced out. Big Mike seems like he enjoys the performance and takes it very seriously. Sure, unkind thoughts would creep up as there was so much footage of the hefty ninja turtles, and I wanted to spot the POI or Chelsea, something, anything that would help, but those subsided as the context grew on me. I did wonder if Big Mike may have worn ninja turtle underwear and pajamas as a child, thus the amazingly elaborate homemade costumes. They did put time and effort making the costumes and editing the videos, just so. I hope they have put just as much effort getting their helpers, security guards, their impressions and raw video footage to LE.
