I just spent quite a bit of time studying an aerial map of the area. It was very, very interesting.
I started at Post & Williams where Big Mike's party was. If the Perp left and went to the right on Post (towards the water) they would essentially be exposed, and trapped. I was initially kind of interested in Swan Creek Road as an escape route, but ruled that out as being too circuitous. And, cars driving by those homes would create interest.

Rather, I think the Perp took Post to Hwy 75 (just a stone's throw away), and then jumped on 275. My eye is really drawn to an area on the opposite side of Highway 275 from where the Carlton Glen Golf Club is. The area I am interested is bordered by Carleton Rockwood Road, Highway 275, and Briar Hill. There are some bodies of water, large ponds? One of the roads leads down to very close to one of the bodies of water and is secluded.
I just think this would be an interesting area to rule out.
In looking at this aerial map, one thing is very certain to me. This Perp knew the area WELL, and this was PLANNED. Otherwise, they would have gotten lost in a maze trying to make a quick escape. This Perp had their plan down ahead of time.
