Did I say voluntary??

eventually I would imagine technology will allow our minds to link with an untouchable device that will do everything beyond all of our current imagination the physical computer will become obsolete or at least antiquated.and beyond all of this is all I am capable at this time of imagining.

Voluntary being the key word...;)

VOLUNTARY, VOLUNTARY...:hills: ;)

I'm thinking a ring or a little top of the ear earring that no one would notice, but could still be removed if desired...

With velcro to attach to your hip, so you wouldn't need pockets. Pet peeve of mine that the cell phones have become so big, they are harder to carry in pockets. But I get your point about being able to locate them when separated from their owner.

Disney magicbands have this capability but the battery only lasts for about two years I believe. It's only a matter of time before something smaller is developed. I would implant one in each of my kids in a heartbeat. Especially after following these heart wrenching cases here on WS.

Easy as a tattoo type thing? Yeah, I still wouldn't get one implanted, for a pet maybe, not a child or human, not just yet.

My is blood is running cold right now, I just watched video on youtube with the sound off, of course, just can't listen, but the video is chilling, from the band I took the parking lot shots from. So disgusted, but I think that's the intent, shock value? The song they played at the Halloween party, their previous official video of the same name, is what I mean. WARNING: DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU HAVE TO AS IT CONTAINS EXTREME VIOLENCE AGAINST A YOUNG WOMAN

I remember reading earlier in the investigation that another female party goer, who had been a friend from HS, had a conversation with Chelsea near the fire, trying to make her feel better about her facial injuries saying not to let it bother her...etc. I took it from that she saw Chelsea with facial injuries. I'll try to find the link to post. This might help to clarify if she had suffered a head injury or was misunderstood describing someone else running into a pole.

I think if you go back to LE press conference, then Kilen's letting us know that the head bump was not significant, it doesn't seem to have made a big difference, but I could be mistaken.

From the same parking lot video of the violent themed emo looking band, you can see in these screen grabs where the one of the tents is pitched in relation to the house. A guy crouching, who stands, then crouches again over to the right a bit, in the background, he may be taking pictures. The fields by the house are in the background as well.

I can always remember as children (many years ago!) we were always told to never speak to a stranger, never go with a stranger and to never accept candy from a stranger. I think my childhood days and those of my age group would agree that we lived in a different world than today. Having said that I would want to believe that Chelsea would not have accepted a ride with a stranger, therefore sort of reinforcing my belief that it was someone she knew in some capacity. Sadly, if this is the case, who can one trust?? This must be a nightmare for LE as this case involves the 'cast of thousands'! This party certainly provided a 'masquerade' cover for anyone who intended on carrying out some nefarious act. What a horrible nightmare, as well, for Chelsea's famiy and friends.

I live in Monroe County. This isn't the first time that LE in Monroe has dealt with this kind of nightmare. In May, 2009, Neveah Buchanan was reported as missing here in Monroe. Her body was found 10 days later and no arrests have been made. It's a cold case here.

I hope Chelsea doesn't turn into yet another cold case. Neveah's body was autopsied by a fairly well known ME in Detroit and he determined she had been buried alive.

Monroe LE hasn't solved THAT case but I do hope they can do better with Chelsea.

I followed the NB case in the media and on the forums here. I think LE has a good idea who is/might be responsible but not enough evidence to insure conviction. I also think that the suspected perp is currently behind bars on other charges, so LE might be taking their time to bring charges in NB's abduction/subsequent death. :moo:

I just hope that POI today closely resembles the composite. I realize that LE may have leads that they are unwilling to divulge but nevertheless, why hasn't he come forward and why has someone not been able to identify him?

I haven't watched it FindHG but you have summarized it in a nutshell. This is appalling. I smell a rat! In this day in age with so much violence against women, why would anyone tolerate these kind of songs at a party? This is very scary. Thanks for posting it.

Sounds like somebody knows who he may be, or there may be more than one person who know him even, but what would be holding them back from sharing that information with LE? It may be his family, best friend/s, if such a person as the POI would have real friend/s, or a room-mate? Who would protect such information on his behalf? I think who ever left with Chelsea Bruck knew how to avoid being suspected by even those closest to him, possibly. This person doesn't twitch to what is right and wrong, just what's good for him, so he would never admit to anything, willingly, even if cornered, telling from the lack of his appearance. So the best chance is a real picture of him being released as the POI, so people who may have seen him can place him after 3:15 am, past his evasiveness, to answer some questions of what happened to Chelsea Bruck, and as to why she still hasn't been found. How come BM's posts don't include the sketch of the POI or been updated to include it in his re-posted outreach? Doesn't he believe the guy exists?

I agree with Spellbound... bashing Mike does not do anything to help figure out what happened... I've been following this case since day one and the facebook groups. I was invited to the party through a mutual friend but did not attend and do not know the group of people well at all. Big Mike posted as soon as he heard on his own pages and on his bands pages. Being in business for myself as well, there is only so much you can do with social media and if you're bombarding fans of your music, art, or whatever you peddle with too much off topic stuff you loose your fan base... so I'm sure that's a part of the concern as well. That being said, I have seen NUMEROUS posts from Pick Axe Preacher throughout the duration of Chelsea's disappearance. This line of discussion isn't helpful, we can't control what Mike or his band does, we can only hope they are cooperative and supportive.

It is possible they have given that information to LE. And unknown to the public, there could be reasons for not naming him. He may "pass" any interviews, he may live far from the area and be unknown here, perhaps he has not been found, I suppose there could be many reasons we don't know. However, I don't want to concentrate only on the sketch because we really don't know if he left with her or was only talking to her. Although we suspect she left with him, we cannot only concentrate on suspicion. It is being complicated because the sketch appears to be our only "apparently solid clue."

Smushbox, may I ask if you are from the general area of where this missing person case is located? Or are you from out of state? Just wondering if the large majority of guests came from here or far away, and how well all the guests would know each other. (Not asking for a specific location)

Also, how popular is this type of music wih our young people? Does it draw a majority of heavy drinking and/or drug users? Does it also draw non-drinkers/drug users? Can you possibly expand on the general type of people who would be drawn to such a large party and what seems to be bizarre music (loud, obnoxious lyrics or titles, etc). I only say "bizarre" for lack of a descriptive word, but wonder why it appears so dark and and with violent or non-sensitive lyrics. What draws young people to it? Not meaning to sound critical, as I do believe we all have our own preferences, but I would like to get a feel for this atmosphere. If you are able, thank you.

I'm from right outside of Detroit. Monroe is south of me, I sometimes swim at Sterling State Park which, from what I understand, is fairly close to where this all happened.

Metal music and the like appeals to many people from all age groups so it's hard to say. I think Chelsea must have been pretty into metal music and the scene (I saw some other pictures of her in a Metallica shirt). It's not about violence per say, but those mosh pits can get out of hand... but that happens at ANY show these days. I tend to avoid concerts where I know things like that go on.

As far as drug and alcohol use at such events, yeah, i'm certain things like that go down. The people that do drugs are gonna do drugs and the people who don't generally just dont. Both co-exist and both types of people enjoy these shows. I think people enjoy the energy of shows like this. It's generally pretty positive, even if it appears violent and strange. People like the music and they wanna move around and dance and bump into people and just party.

That's about all I can really say about it. I was never really into metal but my boyfriend is. He's a totally normal guy, works in education. He just likes to dance and get sweaty with people who enjoy the music too. That's really what it boils down to.

Thanks, smushbox! That is close to what I assumed. The description of liking the "energy" makes some sense. Like any concert, there are users and non-users, wild and crazy people, varied ages. I get what you said about your boyfriend liking it and you don't particularly care either way ..... my husband and I are TOTALLY different in musical tastes, but I appreciate what he hears because he hears it in a different "sense" than I do. He actually can pick out different tracks of instruments, and I only hear it as a mix or words that I can relate to.

Hey thanks for pitching in with your rich and local context. I appreciate it a lot. I don't know if it's the same as punk rock mosh pits, I think I get that aspect. I'm just wondering about the imagery, I may have missed it, but I don't see the POI's image anywhere on BM's post when I click on it. Is there a reason for that, I wonder? The art, the beating on women part is much more prominent. I get that it's all to set a mood, a pose, horror, angst, death, the usual youth culture tendencies however they manifest. What you describe sounds completely normal to me. Not judgement, I just wish more could be done, so her loved ones could have her back safe and soon.

The sketch of a possible POI is on the party invite page, posted by BM on October 28 it appears. That is the only time I see the sketch on his pages. I don't think he puts any of this on his personal page, but the missing poster is appearing more often now on pages related to PAP.
