I bet somebody does and they are now talking or should/going to before they themselves land in a bad position. Ive thought though if a "group" of people actually knew what happened to chelsea, like the idea of some of the party goers went off and harmed chelsea, this would be solved within a month or two. Some people have conscious and would break down. I think it was a person alone and their partner figured it out, or was told.. a cpl or few individuals knowing could be too. Not a big group definately not. Does it relate to Julias case? It still could anything is possible, who knows who knew what..? I think LE knows if it is or not. Im very confident LE has what they need for now and will go from there. I also think its best to leave this for now and not dig further..omg ( I just) remember what they posted about that? omg I just remembered I dig, you dig, we dig.. anyone remember that? anyhow I think LE has this lets hope its right. I hope someone is doing the right thing and helping them

Im also wondering from locals, is this a reservation area of some sort (possibly cherokee?) or do the street names just make it seem so? Is there Cherokees in the area? What does Cherokee mean in relation to this area? Thanks in advance

Can someone please repost the link to the second BM interview? I have missed it, and want to study what he says. I find his music abhorrent, and despite my misgivings, found him to be genuine in the original news clip that was shown shortly after she disappeared. I want to see if my impression has changed. Many thanks in advance.

Yes, ma'am. Spellie's post CNN BM Transcript

Thank you for the repost FindHG, very much appreciated.
I didn't see anything in there that alerted me specifically, other than to be annoyed by NG's sensationalism. But I guess that's how she gets ratings.

If people think BM is being cagey, I don't necessarily see that, and I'm looking for it. I think he's scared. He probably has some culpability from a civil perspective if he didn't have the right city permissions to host such a big bash. But that's up to the Brucks to persue, and I'm sure it's a far far second right now as compared to finding Chelsea. This is all opinion and speculation from the armchair amateur perspective.

Forgive me if I missed it, but has it been clarified what EXACTLY was found?

LE has not shared exactly what evidence was found at the scene. During the recent press conference, Mrs. Bruck and Chelsea's sister Kassandra said that they have not been given the specifics of what might have been recovered at the scene. All they've been told is that LE believes what was found might be related to Chelsea's disappearance. We will all learn more when the DNA testing has been completed. This could take a while.

I agree. The way he described it dawned on them as they gathered the next day with his friends that something was really wrong, sounded credible to me. I haven't seen the video, the words are the same for the most part, he is a little bit more clear about how much Chelsea did follow them, which stood out to me. I'll try to find a stream of it. You're right he has to be careful about town ordinances and civil lawsuits over his "extravagant" events, but if that had been a problem LE would have moved on it by now. That he's on MSM says nothing or how he presents himself, I wonder why he thought he needed to be? The last person I read of a transcript of from the same show is in jail and he, I guess may have been caught in a lie doing so, so you never really know, until the something sings. #506

The violent lyrics and themes in PAP's music have been mentioned frequently. I've read some lyrics and watched a few videos but can't spend too much time pursuing this :puke: Definitely out of my comfort zone

What would have drawn Chelsea to this type of music? The brutal themes are so far removed from her religious upbringing, parochial school education through 8th grade, family morals and values, etc. What would have drawn this unassuming, sheltered, seemingly innocent young woman to that type of music? It just seems so out of character for Chelsea; I can't wrap my brain around it.

Did Chelsea feel socially isolated, found a group of friends with whom she felt comfortable, and simply follow their lead into the dark world of heavy metal? Was she secretly longing for a more worldly existence than she had with her family? Was she trying to rebel from her strict, sheltered upbringing? :dunno:

It's even possible that in the beginning everyone was on the up and up, then something went sideways. Accidental. And then a coverup. If so, as you say, guilt will eventually supersede loyalty (I would hope).

Going off of this post, I'm wondering.. Does anyone here at WS recall while sleuthing this case in the beginning in her SM pages someone who had posted they had found "the ultimate spot" somewhere "creepy" abandoned and desolate? They thought it would be a good idea to go there, bring a bottle, spend the night "ghost hunter style" and the thing to do for halloween.. does anyone recall who posted this, or get a screenshot? Im sure by now LE does have all this, but sometimes you never know. What Im also saying is this could lead to 2 different scenerios, not just the obvious.. the person that could very well be who lead to some sort of demise for Chelsea but also, with whats happened recently you have to consider if it was placed there recently ( which really I dont but just m.o.) who ELSE who had seen that post and also knows WHERE this place would be to even put evidence there.. so many questions..
I do recall the "dig" comments from early on and thought it was a strange comment but I'll have to go back and see if I screen captured it before it was removed.

Additionally I recall a comment thread referring to "Dog Lady Island" a legend of teenagers in the Monroe area. I'm not sure if that is what you recall or not. I know there used to be a group that held "ghost hunter" type events there.

I haven't visited search headquarters for a while, as when I see Chelsea's mom, all the cards, flowers, anchors and pictures, I get teary and don't think that helps. Her mom is so strong.
But I do need fresh purple ribbons and need to visit there again soon. With all the people she has met, I was amazed that the second time I visited she remembered my name after my introducing myself once at first visit. I have so much admiration for this family.

I've been trying to find HB's Flat Rock address (the suspect that lied to police) with no luck. Being that he's 19, I'm assuming that he's a recent grad of a local high school. The map below shows the proximity of two high schools to the search area. I'm sure that that the "party crowd" at both high schools were familiar with this location.

I can tell you that many of the roads between party site and Flat Rock are rough, not well-used and voided by people not living down them. Even the paved roads have potholes and travel plans are made depending on the roughness and possibility of ruining tires. I've ruined two in 18 mos!

On another note, people in this area are most helpful and have been very concerned about finding Chelsea. There were so many searches done and farmers/property owners were urged to check out their vacant buildings, land, wooded areas, etc. I do believe people have responded. The family had meticulous maps gridded out and showed them to me at visits. Texas Equisearch of Ohio came during the end time of much of the searches and assisted the family also. However, sites like in Flat Rock where items found are different being private property/or
industrial - not being maintained or checked out by an owner. There are probably more of them than I am aware of.

I have a favorite back way to Flat Rock when I want to avoid I75 and going to an area in Flat Rock away from Telegraph. The roads are rough, but it is a pretty drive through Berlin Township, South Rockwood, Rockwood and then arrive at Flat Rock. It follows the Huron River.

There was a search March 21 at the Huron River for a man missing since New Year's Eve. He lived in a apartment complex close to the river and his family organized a search that day, I think, because the snow was gone and the rivers' ice was breaking up and starting to run. His body was found on Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, at the banks of St. Mark Lutheran Church. No foul play was suspected, as according to news reports he had mental issues and was taking medication. The family requested aid from the FR police and firemen and they did assist according to the press. Firemen found him. Not certain how much of that area was searched but at least some of the river was searched then.

Yesterday when I was rereading on the facebook event page for that night, someone did bring up checking Dog Lady Island. Someone else commented that it is private property that is on watch because she worked there and knew that I guess.

When I looked up HB on facebook, it says he lives in Monroe and went to Airport. I'm well aware he could have moved away from Flat Rock to Monroe but just thought to throw that out there...being he may live in the area now and went to school closer to where the party was held.

:tyou: for visiting the Bruck search headquarters. I feel that members take us with them when they are able to have personal contact with family members who are experiencing these unfortunate circumstances. I belonged to another crime-solving website during the Tara Grant case (husband Steven was convicted and is serving a life sentence in prison). DH and I drove to the Grant home and placed flowers at the memorial at the foot of the driveway. I included my fellow site members in my thoughts and prayers as I laid the bouquet near the Grant's mailbox. More recently and as a member of Websleuths, I did the same thing at the Troy home of Patrick Mikes, Sr. who was murdered by his namesake son. I'm sure others here appreciate your taking the time to visit the Bruck family and help find Chelsea by posting her picture and displaying ribbons around the Monroe area.

Wow, Monster 12: this description is wonderful and in great detail. I appreciated all the info and your thinking.

I can't imagine someone leaving clothing, etc. in abandoned site if wanting to get rid of them. There are certainly other ways of permanently getting rid of them and not possibly have your DNA show up or other evidence connected with you and then be implicated. My thinking is they were not just dropped there in a site unrelated to Chelsea's disappearance. If you and your garbage wasn't being checked out by police, why not just put the items in trash and let them be dumped? Why not burn them? People burn items around this area all the time. Most people know someone in the country where burning can be done. A couple bags of papers/documents along with these items could be burned and no one would know.

I don't remember hearing anything about who she was attending the party with: a friend is all that comes to mind and I thought it was a girlfriend. She worked at the Olga's restaurant at the Mall of Monroe.

Thank you, monster12, your words, descriptions, maps, eye, thoughts and focus are full of substance, very solid references. I've been think about it in the mind meld since it started. Stay safe, please.

I don't believe it is but Indian names are extremely common in Michigan, in fact the state name is based on an Indian name. There are a few big reservations in our state but I don't think that area is near one...someone else correct me if I am wrong.

Why did I think Chelsea worked at Olga's or was it another place she worked?

Good points ^ It is odd to find just one item (at least that's all we know now).... We do see things belonging to victims discarded randomly, (as per the rule-of-three I go on about) http://www.websleuths.com/forums/entry.php?1412-Rule-of-Three - but these items are usually found in the days and weeks after a person goes missing... Odd to find something after so much time.... Seems like what was now found got moved or carried away from another place by the wind? if its very light, or someone? ...
