Hi GGE. I think you summed it up nicely. I also have a theory about the hero story. Is it possible he told a story to explain the blood, expecting Chelsea to be found? When he realized she wouldn't be, he changed his mind and said he made it up, hoping it would all just go away? He probably didn't realize the level of trouble he'd be in, but still is happy taking his lumps for the lie versus being charged for her disappearance.

Well yeah I mean as a mom that's exactly what I'd assume out of the scenario. If my kid had chocolate all over their face and i asked if they wanted to tell me something and they said "yeah I ate all your fancy chocolate dad ordered for your anniversary" and I replied "we don't HAVE an anniversary any time soon" and he said "oh.. well I lied, I didn't eat any chocolate and especially not yours"... well hell I'd just wonder whose chocolate he ate, not assume it was all a lie. ya know. See the straws? Yeah, he's grasping at them IMO.

Before anyone starts posting things in a trailer park, we would want to make sure LE did some undercover sniffing around, right? If something happened in the night, I doubt anyone saw anything, or anyone. And then all we're doing is making a perp nervous.

I was thinking... there's some videos of fighting. Those areas are places those kids seem to feel are safe for lawlessness. Maybe LE should find out where that is and use dogs to see if our girl is over there before someone realizes they're being looked at. First priority is to find Chelsea.

Thoughts?

Even though trailer parks aren't necessarily "gated" communities, residents have a right to privacy. It's probably not a good idea to post flyers on individual units without permission from the management (offices generally in clubhouse). :moo:

i.e. There's an adult mobile home park about a mile from my home. DH and I do absentee ballots now, but the clubhouse at the mobile home park is a local voting precinct. There is a sign at the entrance to the park indicating NO SOLICITORS. This means that the management does not permit non-residents to enter the park for door-to-door sales or advertising, posting flyers, etc.

So.. a nose bleed? THAT"S how her blood got on hero's shirt? Really?

Hm.

Noses bleed a LOT if they bleed, they're real gushers. Did anyone else see her gushing blood from her nostril(s)? How did he say she got injured? People who fall forward put their hands down, they don't fall on their nose. It wasn't particularly a dry night. She didn't do drugs that we're aware of. Nobody says they punched her in the face or saw anyone else do so.

How did this supposed nose bleed occur, then? Anyone know what he said about it? Just curious because I think theyr'e about to find her, especially if they search the golf course areas IMO (gut only). (and which I don't know if they are but I saw mention of the idea a page or two back. But I'm on info overload for now, so forgive me if I've misspoken.)

edited to add: if it was her nose that was bleeding, either she got hit and some blood flung outward and hit his shirt, or else she was bleeding and he took off his shirt and gave it to her to stop the blood but then took it back afterwards, or else he hugged her right up against his chest. How else does fluid under gravity's force go from one's nose to someone else's shirt who is merely standing nearby?

What did he have to say about how this happened?

PS as far as social media goes, is this guy old enough to have an old myspace? Just a thought. Also, don't forget the internet wayback machine for locating cached versions of sites and pages that have since been deleted. (not at anyone in particular, I just know that most threads get "adopted" by a poster or .. well, twenty, LOL... and certain persons will generally follow up on whatever they can in a given case.. so whomever is keeping on top of things here like I did with baby Elaina's case from start to finish, that's a thought for ya (though I'm sure you've already thought of it, whoever you are).

There were early media reports that Chelsea had injured herself (bumped into a pole) sometime during the evening. She supposedly had a bloody nose and a gash on her forehead.

She had been walking around with the nose bleed, and others did see it. I don't remember how it happened, but I think she bumped into a pole? I also seem to recall that she was angry about it at first.

Thank you for clarifying. :)

And I guess there are no photos, videos, or other people's recollections of her after she did that who can confirm it happened or which document her being bloody? Even though there are tons of videos out there? That's pretty inconvenient for everyone except Hero IMO. Yet since there are multiple media reports from early on stating this, I guess others did see it, just didn't get it on video. Hm. She walked into a pole? face first? Well stuff like that happens at parties so I'll let it go for now...

except...

like I said, no matter HOW it happened, how'd it get onto Hero's shirt? Gravity wouldn't allow that unless he was laying on the floor when she ran into the pole IMO...

If I was walking around slightly buzzed, bleeding from the nose, and angry, how would my blood end up on some random guy's shirt? Hm. If I danced with him, hugged him, or turned around and he was standing there blocking my way and I ran into him.. if he gave me his shirt to clean up with AND then took it back, and kept it... if he was standing nearby the pole and I ran into it SO hard that it sprayed him with blood when it happened....

yeah I guess my imagination can't find another way.

And it's not like this particular party was the Bloody NOSE Bash 2014 or anything... *gag*

Chelsea Bruck hurt herself at party before going missing

By Robert Allen, Detroit Free Press 3:50 p.m. EST November 5, 2014

Chelsea Bruck, 22, went missing in the early morning hours of Oct. 26 after attending a large Halloween party in Monroe County's Frenchtown Township

...The 22-year-old Maybee resident had been drinking and walked into a post at about 12:45 a.m. Oct. 26, gashing the bridge of her nose and forehead, he said. She was last reported seen near the parking area at about 3 a.m. at the party attended by hundreds of people from Michigan and other states...

Thanks BDE! So someone told LE first opportunity that Chelsea had injured herself and was bleeding and would have a face injury, specifically to her nose, when they found her. Nice prep work, perp(s). I'm suspicious, what can I say. I'd love to know who it was that told LE that right on the very first interview.

(ETA: I remember saying that about Dylan Redwine at the very start of his case as well.. that I found it interesting that he'd been hit in the face with a football before going missing.. because I speculated that was an attempt to reason away why he'd have a facial injury once he was found... of course I was called out for saying that and accused of being the perp myself... silly. But that's what it reminds me of.)

GGE,

Seems to me you've summarized all the various facts and theories accurately. No small feat with such a complicated case!
I think you are spot on with your various theories on "The Hero". I think we have all collectively come to the assessment that this guy needs to be interviewed again. I am speculating he knew something, but clammed up and changed his story due to fear. From his FB posts, he doesn't seem like a particularly sophisticated fellow, so I could see him getting in over his head quickly.

Killen - if you are reading this thread again, as stated above, please encourage the media to promote that reward like crazy. If my reasoning skills are working, one of the trailer park types will break their silence to grab the dough. Police would have to emphasize how they could somehow collect it anonymously or they won't "rat out" due to fear.

I really do think there will be another major advancement on this case soon. There is momentum. I am doubling down on my prayers, and especially surrounding the *real* hero's, our LE, to persist. I believe they are close. God Bless!

It seems like trailer park connections need to be vetted before the reward angle is pursued again. HBs friend, sketchy guy twin, might be directly involved in this. Also, as I mentioned before, the trail areas where the fights take place with sketchy guy twin should also be searched.

Has anyone sleuthed KAC, the woman from Toledo who lied to police, telling them that her boyfriend confessed to having murdered Chelsea? If there's a little bit of truth in every lie, this could be something to consider, as well.

Especially if her BF has connections to the Hero or his posse.

Reading my mind BDE!! I started reviewing last night, nothing to report yet.

It just struck me that I don't know if it was confirmed that it was Chelsea's blood on hero-guy's shirt. Does anyone know for sure it was hers?

  • #657
Does LE have the shirt?

What occured to me after reading all these great posts (you all are awesome sleuthers!) is the motivation for Chelsea to leave. Maybe her injury combined with possible intoxication was the angle for which the perp decided to take advantage of. This is all very incriminating to HB considering he has her blood on his shirt which puts him in contact with her near the ladder end of when she was last seen and with physical evidence of her trauma. I don't even want to post this because it makes me ill to think about but what if the perp saw this as a vulnerability and as an opportunity. Maybe he witnessed the pole incidence and knew that Chelsea was inebriated (this is speculation. I cannot say for sure if this is the reason and I don't want to imply that it is what occured but it could be). What if he told Chelsea that he could take her somewhere to patch her up and bring her back to the party after her wound was cleaned up? This is of course speculation but is surely a possibility and one I didn't even think of until reading through all of these posts....

Based on all the descriptions I've read of Chelsea, I don't see her leaving with someone who wasn't, at least, a familiar face. I think the Perp, or Perp(s) were band regulars.
This is what my brand of logic tells me. However, as my signature qualifier states, it could all be hogwash. None the less, injured or not, I don't necessarily see this gal leaving with an unknown.
