He briefly went over the known facts, says there may be a secondary person who was inside the vehicle. Showed the picture of the suspect (who returned to the liquor store after the fact). Chief Craig says TURN YOURSELF IN because we will FIND YOU. Generally he is correct.

suspect grabbed D's arm and forced him into rear of vehicle. that is what we saw in the video.

If this ind is listening what is your message

msg is turn yourself in without incident. we will find you, we have good images, save yourself trouble turn self in we want that young man safely home with parents.

We see images of Deontae riding bike, at some point suspect sees one or both of the young men (cousin and D or maybe just D)

Has gun when enters store. working round the clock, continue to keep command post up until arrest and find D

Appears that suspect is dark complected but hard to discern if facial hair fro the video.

I feel like there is more to the story. If he was snatched off his bike... why was the bike is no where to be found?? ( of course it could have been stolen afterwards... I dont see anyone in an Impala somehow taking the bike with him) Were the boys involved in something they shouldnt have been? Which boy had the money? How far did the cousin get before he realized Deontae was missing? Didnt hear anything? Or too scared to talk?
I really feel like there is a lot of information missing here. Hope Deontae is found soon.. and safe...

I missed a portion of presser due to audio issues.

Do we know his bike was not found?

LE has surveillance of him being forced into the vehicle. I imagine the same video shows what became of the bike, if anything.

im sure he did pick up money, but it could have been as simple as the guy got mad cuz he dropped his money. this is a kid ffs. dfq is wrong w ppl, give him back, this isn't good at all. I have a horrible feeling.

As he put him in the car and began walking away I was screaming "get out, baby! get out, get out!" Kids should never have to make decisions like that. Please let this baby be ok. I am going to keep my fingers crossed since the guy didn't just get out or drive by him and shoot him right away.
