Seriously Searching, you said '' I could certainly could give you another POI with definite motives, but not here.'' Please call MI State Police Det/Sgt Gary Thomas with who this person is and the definite motives that person has. They have to be made aware of what you know. (989) 495-5560.

Can someone with a good eye take a long piece of text that is 100 per cent know to be written by Eric? Then study it closely for any spelling mistakes, and any grammatical errors?

.....I don't mean typos, I mean the kind of markers some people get wrong on a regular basis - its and it's, for example.

And any unusual words or phrases he might use.

Then look for any of those markers in the doubtful emails, and especially, try and spot any spelling/grammar mistakes he has never been known to make.

If someone could do that, it could be very interesting. If there are unique mistakes that Eric wouldn't have made, it might be possible to match them with identical mistakes made by someone he knew - say in postings online. That might give an idea of who might have sent them, if Eric didn't.

I know the information can't be posted, but I think it would be good if someone with access to the materials could do it.

I'm not being lazy - I'd love to do it but not being on FB means I'm missing all the stuff you guys are talking about.

Thanks, Zweibel, we have been doing that. I printed the emails he sent to me and there is some spelling in question and some phrases also. His wife and a close friend and other family members have been going over some documents and comparing notes on what we see. That's a very good idea to compare Eric's emails to the posts of other people . We had even noticed something like what you are suggesting we do just tonight ! I appreciate your kindness in your questions and posts, as always.

I miss our chats. Maybe we can PM you with some of our FB stuff. Thanks. A lot of people aren't big FB people. I got on it mainly to help find Eric and it has proven to be very beneficial.

Seriously Searching, LE does have proof that KF is lying. There is absolutely NO POSSIBLE WAY that all of her stories about her interaction with Eric could all be true. It's possible for one of her stories to be true, maybe stretching it possible two of them could be true as she said one of her interactions with Eric was by FB in May after she said he left in April , no it was March , but wait he was with her in June. I forgot that she thought she just an email from him the day before I spoke with her on the phone. Oh, and she thought she got an email from him just the other day when the police spoke with her. Then there was the story to the police of the neighbor thinking there was a strange car in the area and maybe it was Eric's after she saw him leave toward CA. Strange that the neighbor denied this. Just so much, it's no wonder she can't even keep her own stories straight. If she can speak with a truthful tongue, I wish she would tell what really happened, so we would have some real information to go on to find out what has happened to Eric.

Don't forget to screen shot anything you might find, just in case it disappears.!

Skiptracker, do you have any ideas on how we might try and help find out what happened to Eric's car?

Is there anything that can be done that hasn't been, do you think?

Skiptracker, some of the questions you asked about have already been discussed...some just a day or so ago on this thread and they were answered by more than one person. I'm not sure the smoking was addressed. He did smoke some. Maybe Vee knows brands. As stated before, he frequently went to the little store across from the motel. Some man there remembered Eric. You would have to ask Eric any personal questions that only he could answer about his personal life and money. He did not use credit cards. Eric loved Mexican food best. He was a good driver. He was adopted as a 5 wk old baby, so I don't know his family medical history. He was never diagnosed with any kind of mental illness. We have tried to answer the pertinent questions . If anything, Eric's family and his close friend has gone way beyond what anyone outside his support system needed to know in order to find him. He is missing ! He cannot speak for himself, so we have let outsiders in on his personal habits and unnecessary information in our desire to find him. It is not easy to answer anything that you have asked because of your insinuation that we have given untrue statements. That is untrue and unkind. However, because I am an honest person and a kind person, I did answer your questions. Perhaps as you PM SS, you two could brain storm on how to get this person with ''definite motives'' to kill Eric turned in to the police. The authorities will be told about this tip, but since you are a bounty hunter, you can look into this person and the definite motives and help authorities catch the person. That statement can not be brought up and dropped. It was too blunt and accusatory against someone SS has information on. This may be the lead family and law enforcement is looking for and it has to be given to them immediately !

ok ive been following this thread for quite awhile and living about an hr from where he went missing kind of keeps him in my mind. so this morning im on way to work and look next to me and catch my breath!! it looked like eric next to me!! i dont mean to sound cruel but at this point i think he would have contacted someone by now if he was still alive, so i dont believe it WAS eric but it just made me think of him. and it was a contract truck so unless he had a different ss # and drivers license he wouldnt have been able to have that job nor drive a company vehicle but it was shocking because that guy looked so similar. I hope 2014 will be the year we will have answers.Erics mom my thoughts and prayers are with you constantly!

I wish it had been him. He didn't have a commercial license. Plus, he had no reason to stay in a place he didn't like since the reason for going there moved to FL. He was in constant contact with someone by phone or facebook while he was living in Saginaw up until, of course, March 2011. Then emails started coming, which may not have been from him. I do so appreciate your kind words. It means a lot to me that you are looking for him. The loss prevention manager over Burger Kings in MI talked to me a few times after that last email came from a Burger King in Clio, MI. He explained that some of their BK's do not have surveillance cameras, but he also said that I could be sure I had an extra pair of eyes looking out for Eric's car as he traveled around that area. I appreciate people like you and him so much.

Eric's mom
I would like to say you are truly grace under pressure.
Only started reading this thread yesterday, and I hope your wishes are granted.
Peace.

Absolutely guarantee if I think I spot Eric anywhere he'll have a zwiebel hanging on his left ankle until he calls his mom.

I know that's not orthodox, but I feel Eric might understand.......

Correction on post #1634: Eric's daughter was told that Eric was her dad in November 2010.

Wow...intense reading here. Strong momma Eric has! It sounds to me like Eric's mom and friends are saying LE has led them to believe they pretty much have a circumstantial case but not enough to ensure a conviction. They need more, such as someone to come forward and telling the truth, or Eric's body to be found (hate typing that). I personally don't feel Eric's family and friends have blinders on. I believe they understand the case very well as it has been presented to them by LE. Ever think of filing a wrongful death suit? The parties have to testify under oath. :twocents:

Thanks, Philigumbo. Love your user name, figured you were from Louisiana. You are spot on ! We have been discussing talking to a lawyer about some sort of legal action. Thank you for your input and kind words.
