I wonder what prompted this violance?

I have a feeling that the violence and abuse to Gabby had gone on for sometime and only got worse for this sweet precious angel.

I didn't see it mentioned anywhere but who alerted the police or called 911? I assume they only found the little girl at the home, so who made the call?

The articles say that she was being tended to by “family” ... but no clue as to what family members. Where was mom and boyfriend? If they were in the home, it isn’t likely they let them slip away.

Why would she do that to her daughter if she knew how awful it was?

I can’t see signs of scars in the few pics I have seen (though they are mainly head-only views), with little of the shoulder or arm visible). Do you know if she had a FB page?

I hope they catch these two soon. Wonder if they went to friends or relatives, or are just out on the streets.

This sounds like she was found dead by family and this pair of monsters had already taken of? So did they run and leave her there all alone when she was found dead? Or did they run after family were administering CPR/called 911?

So first Dad says there was no signs of abuse...

Then his family say they were "trying to get her"?

Then they all say they knew the house she was living in was unfit but didn't do anything about it as it wasn't that bad? Ok.

Why are they trying to get her if there were no signs of abuse/they say the house wasn't that bad? (Which isn't acceptable anyway, no child should have to live in a house that her own paternal family consider "unfit".

I suspect the dad was trying to get her for a visit during New Year. However, you can find his FB (he has two). One talks a lot about his relationship with the mother. Not good, in my view, either parent.

OMG, they had another child. Was this poor baby left alone also? Sorry if I missed this earlier.

The couple’s infant daughter is in the custody of Child Protective Services.

I'm having a difficult time seeing through my tears. It seems we are seeing this on a daily basis now. There are so many childless couples that would give anything to adopt a child, yet parents/care givers etc. resort to the unthinkable.
