Missing man was traveling from U.P. to visit family downstate, police say

The Escanaba Public Safety Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Gregory Dennis, 51. He was reported missing by his family on Dec. 21.

Dennis was last seen about 10:30 a.m. that day. He’d planned to drive to Cadillac to visit family members, police said. He has not been seen since then.

Dennis drives a 2003 gray Ford Taurus with a Michigan registration of DTY9872.

Dennis has been reported missing by family members early Friday morning around 10:30 am. Police say he was leaving for Cadillac to visit family in his 2003 Grey Ford Taurus.

UPDATE: Investigators have confirmed that Gregory Dennis was found dead in Delta County. They are not releasing any more information at this time.

According to investigators, Gregory Dennis and his vehicle were found in the southern part of Delta County around 5 p.m. Friday.
