The one i'm looking at is from Grand Haven MI, born 11/1982. Is this the right one?

I wonder how the witness can have this much detail from a distance, in the dark. I am inclined to think she "knows" who she saw ( or think she does...) Could she 'think' it looked like a customer she is familiar with ( and hence the detailed face shot?)

i just want to throw it out there, probably just a coinkydink... but that person is wearing a red shirt in his mugshot that looks like the sketch and a red jacket looking thing in the other mug.

Do you have an initial of the first name on the rsos you're referring to?
I don't have a clue who the look alikes (to the sketch) are. I have a reason for asking though.
Anyone with the initial 'J'?

The Cheese post explains how they got such a great description. Thank you for the great update/info. Now if I understand this correctly, this person in the silver/grey van was seen couple hours before closing, then what seems like it could be the same van/person was seen by a someone else who was just passing by and noticed silver/grey van with lights off and circled around and saw van leaving (maybe getting a vague view of he occupant while it passed by or possibly even saw person getting in the van).

I think some of these sick guys think beautiful girls like JH actually like them. Just because the girl is friendly or smiles while waiting on them. I feel like he stopped and flirted with her and maybe when he went back he actually thought she would go with him and when she didn't he snapped into the monster he is. If this is the case, then he did not really plan it and maybe that is why it was sloppy. JMO

His hair has been lighter and darker, shorter and longer in various mugshots. The height and age are right on. The weight is a wild card. It is reported that he was wearing a brightly colored red or orange sweatshirt. The combination of bright color and bulkiness of material could make him appear heavier from a distance.

Just wanted to note that in the mug shots (LLL) I saw he had on an orange shirt in one and a red shirt in the other.

I looked at Google maps streetview and you are right, looks like a minivan in garage. Not sure its a Town and Country though as the corner of windows look more rounded.

Does he live with mom, maybe her car?

Who knows how to check incarceration status in MI?

RSO arrested in 2012 for a parole violation. Are we sure he's out and/or was he just recently released? :scared:

they have a nice side by side of the sketch and of a local man. dead ringer. witnesses may not have been able to see facial hair at night.
