Oh, have I ever mentioned that JT has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and from time to time, he will not take his meds which caused a behavior shift for him. My daughter had mentioned this to me in the past.
No, I don't think you mentioned that yet.
How does his behaviour shift if he does not take his medications? Doe he become more manic, more agressive?
You mentioned something before about his past before. He ever been arrested for a crime, as a youth or as an adult?
Withouth having to go into details, has he been the victim of abuse? There is a correlation between youth trauma and bipolar disorder.
Trauma and bipolar disorder also may make it more likely for a person to act violently. Given this condition and some of the accusations that
have surfaced, he may seem like a likely suspect. On the other hand, it may also explain why he would get a lawyer.
I remember a recent case, where the brother of a shooting victim was a bipolar gun enthusiast. There also seemed to be reasons for him
to be jealous of his brother. But in the end he had nothing to do with it, and as I was investigating the case it seemed more and more that
he really loved his brother and that he could not have harmed him.
The bipolar diagnosis might be relevant when looking for a motive. But JT as a suspect still does not quite fit for me.
