I agree. I keep going back to a guy her age. Maybe someone she knew through her roommates. Maybe he even came by and said he was there to see a roommate and could he wait. They knew each other well, he was into her and they got to talking and I have several theories from there.

That's a very good possibility........................................

But that there was no sexual assault, and the way it appears she was killed without a fight - by someone strong and knowledgeable in doing that. Has me puzzled... this is a rare case in that regard...

Thank you Trojan1966 for continuing. Intently watching how things progress. Your patience has taught me things, thank you.

I heard Tricia speak about Destiny Butler who is missing and is believed to be in MI, on True Crime Radio, with her mom and found it interesting, different circumstances, still, compelling.

Anything is possible, and I'm sure LE is looking in to these types of theories. That said, I am not taking my eyes off the #1 POI until he disqualifies himself as a suspect by cooperating fully, with a comprehensive and formal statement to LE.

I don't think there was either, in one of my theories. This guy could have been strong, too.

I am not either, but my eyes are open many other places until this is solved.

Yes, that is wise. We don't have enough info to draw any firm, educated theories. Everything should be examined. Agree.

Maybe a female?

Maybe Turnquist is involved with sex trafficking routes to Canada, who knows, maybe Julia found out, just another possible theory.

It's just far too coincidental that there is another (and major) 🤬🤬🤬🤬 bust in Monroe, as well as one of Julia's friends missing (Chelsea Bruck). Either this man is involved in a much larger net of nefarious activity, or he has the horrible luck of appearing so. I'm sure there is no lack of LE focus on this. I can't help but view this man with a jaundiced eye considering, (based on the info I know), he is still refusing to provide a full and comprehensive statement to LE with regard to his whereabouts on and prior to Julia's death. And where was he the night Chelsea went missing?

Oh, have I ever mentioned that JT has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and from time to time, he will not take his meds which caused a behavior shift for him. My daughter had mentioned this to me in the past.

This is significant. Bipolar people not taking their meds can have delusions, impulse control issues, etc. This is very significant, and I'm sure LE is factoring this in to their assessment. They know this, right?

No, I don't think you mentioned that yet.
How does his behaviour shift if he does not take his medications? Doe he become more manic, more agressive?
You mentioned something before about his past before. He ever been arrested for a crime, as a youth or as an adult?
Withouth having to go into details, has he been the victim of abuse? There is a correlation between youth trauma and bipolar disorder.
Trauma and bipolar disorder also may make it more likely for a person to act violently. Given this condition and some of the accusations that
have surfaced, he may seem like a likely suspect. On the other hand, it may also explain why he would get a lawyer.

I remember a recent case, where the brother of a shooting victim was a bipolar gun enthusiast. There also seemed to be reasons for him
to be jealous of his brother. But in the end he had nothing to do with it, and as I was investigating the case it seemed more and more that
he really loved his brother and that he could not have harmed him.

The bipolar diagnosis might be relevant when looking for a motive. But JT as a suspect still does not quite fit for me.

LE does know about JT's bipolar issue. As a child, he was subjected to abuse. I have no knowledge of his possible previous troubles with the law or any previous arrests.

Yes, LE has known about this for some time.

Non-compliance with therapy during the manic part of manic depressive cycles gets out of hand if the individual has an enabling support system and isn't self regulating, it seems to me. Whatever enabled Turnquist is what may have been at risk and may have cost Julia's life, it seems to me, given recent developments, but who know?

  • #759
The murder of Julia does not seem to be the work of a manic person. A manic person might kill, but probably wouldn't carefully
cover his/her tracks. But bipolar people also can commit homicide in their depressive episodes.

It seems we are all saying that while not a defacto byproduct, the possibility of the POI being involved in criminal activity seems even more probable given this unregulated psychiatric condition.
