Was there more evidence found or the relevant information just given to the Defense attorney? Either way would case a delay to a Pretrial hearing. I've searched all the news stations and can not find a bit of information regarding the outcome of the hearing this morning. I would think that new evidence would be a hot topic for the news to broadcast. Does anyone know if new charges have been filed to accommodate this new evidence?

I think we are all waiting to hear, as you are. Haven't seen anything on the wires yet.

Prosecution had additional information it wanted to include that Defense had not reviewed. No new charges.

I just looked this up to make sure if this was within TOS. Please, if you have something to say, say it.

I am aware of TOS as I have been a member for years. It is hard to not say certain things but also as difficult to see things go down the wrong path for days because of things you can not disclose due to respect for the family and the cases. It is a fine line.

My intent was not to bait - I was responding to a post from Trojan with a Newflash that the pretrial had been rescheduled. I have stopped posting on this thread lately because this is what happens when I do speak but as I said, as soon as we saw the alert that new evidence had been submitted it immediately becomes a "What if it is this - or What if it is that" and as you will see from my post I simply stated - that we would all probably have information via the media on what exactly what submitted.

Again, my opinion and I apologize.

Thanks for understanding the need to either post what you know, or refrain from suggesting. We can all appreciate your unique circumstances and respect that. Thank you for being here. I know we are all trying to add value and help, in whatever way we can. We've got some super sharp sleuthers on this thread all with differing skills. We press each other hard sometimes, but all in all the best bunch of good eggs you can find online. : ). This is a complex case, and I know it's very difficult for those of you so close to it.

Has anyone found any printed information or news clips on today's hearing? Considering the hearing was early this morning, I thought for sure there would be something out there by now. I can't help but wonder if this was a case of the original Discovery not being presented to the opposition yet. I'm not convinced there is anything new just yet....

Dazed, I've been searching the sites all afternoon but have seen nothing yet. I have an alert set up, so I'll check back often to see if they've been shared here. The silence is strange for a case that has had past media attention.

Its very common for Postponements in all types of Circuit Court cases. I don't find it suspicious or malicious at all. I am all for all sides being able to do a thorough job! I do find it a bit odd that the news hasn't reported anything and am just chalking it up to they have nothing new to report. Court rooms are public and if something was said or done that was news worthy, they would be able to report it.

NEWS FLASH - JT's Pretrial today has been rescheduled for May 8th as there was more evidence found in the child case. Evidently JT's lawyer had not received it in advance, so the Pretial in Circuit Court has been rescheduled for May 8th.

:tyou: I did see this earlier. I was looking for news reports regarding "more/additional" information than initially presented in the media at this beginning of this case.

Forgive me now if this was mentioned or is not possible, since I am not clear on the specifics of why the trial was rescheduled. Any chance the new evidence brought forward could be related to the "evidence" potentially found regarding another big story in this same area he is from?... Again I may be going in the wrong direction but just a thought that came to mind since nothing new has been released ..

I will be very surprised if there is not a link between Julia Niswender's death and Chelsea Bruck's disappearance. :moo:

For conspiracy theory sake, the new evidence and the finding of an article of clothing tied to the Chelsea Bruck case are both new (recent) developments. Here is an article about the discovery:

...just saying. I have no opinion either way of JT's guilt or innocence, BUT if I were following both cases, this coincidence would give me pause.

-------- oh, that's an assumption on my part that it is "new evidence" that caused the delay. It hasn't been stated outright (that I could find) that this was the case. PURE speculation on my part. FWIW. There has been no MSM statement on what caused the delay.

I have no opinion either and just started reading this forum about her but have been keeping up with Chelsea's. Just made me think since they were friends and so were their families at least their siblings. Glad someone else was thinking along the same lines ... At the same time.
