Within the family, talk has been very scarce since JT's child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 pretrial has been rescheduled due to more evidence being found by the prosecutor. JT's lawyer needs time to examine it and to prepare his defense. I have not heard from anyone other than on the last trial date. His wife and daughter were very talkative prior to this, I often wonder what is really happening. If I get any "updates", I'll be sure to post them.

Yes. Perhaps the seriousness of this situation has finally sunk in, and the red shirts are now tucked away. The Sherriff doesn't saddle up to go arrest someone for this type of offense without some strong evidence, which would no doubt, make a decent person cry or vomit, or both.

The possible evidence being reviewed by Defense is in regards to the case JT is currently out on bond for.

Thank you for the insider update, it's really appreciated.
Do any of the materials in question contain images of family members, friends of the family, or Monroe residents?

I do not have that information as defense is still reviewing these materials.

It's been awfully quiet lately with regard to progress in the Chelsea Bruck case and that of Julia Niswender. Monroe LE is awaiting results of forensic testing on items possibly related to Chelsea's disappearance. Hearing in Julia's stepfather's child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 case was delayed for a month in light of new evidence provided by prosecutor to James Turnquist's defense attorney. Anyone have thoughts on the "silence" and what might be transpiring?

Let's turn to our feet on the street insider, MiMommy once again who has been terrific in keeping us up to date.
In thread post #925, she tells us the delay is related specifically to the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 case, if I am understanding correctly.

MiMommy - do I have that right or is there another development you are aware of?
Thank you again for keeping us up to speed on what is going on

The delay is in regards to new "evidence" that Prosecution attempted to use earlier this month in regards to the images, yes! The amount of time it is taking is due to the fact that Defense is wrapped up in another case for the next 3 weeks and requested adequate time to review these new items.

I just wrote a long detailed message explaining medical discoveries of this case and explaining what everyone wants to to know re asphyxiation and what happened here.. It's not what people think know or separate events.. It happened all at once.

That seems to contradict what law enforcement said. I believe they said that she was first asphyxiated, then placed in the tub. Do you have any insider information about the autopsy report?

If you try to re-type what you lost, there should be a small phrase in the bottom left corner of the posting-box that says something like "restore lost content". That should give you back most, if not all, of what you lost.

I remember LE saying the asphyxiation coming first, then being put into the tub. We had a long discussion on the asphyxiation aspect way back. Possibly the end of last thread or very beginning of thread 2.

Clicking Ctrl + Z can bring back lost text as well. I've had this happen many times.

Your theory is in conflict with the coroner. What are you basing your opinion on?

Police: Julia Niswender's death ruled a homicide; details not being released

By Kyle Feldscher

Ypsilanti police said investigators have received the final autopsy report for Eastern Michigan University student Julia Niswender, who was found dead in her apartment in December, and they have ruled her death was a homicide.

However, Lt. Deric Gress said police would not release more information about how Niswender died or who might have killed her.

“To release more information could jeopardize the integrity of the case,” Gress said. “We talked it over with detectives. We can’t do that right now, so we’re not going to do that right now. It could jeopardize how we go forward from here. We understand the public’s concerns, but we owe it to the family and to Julia to do it the right way.” ...

Officials confirmed Friday that Eastern Michigan University student Julia Niswender was asphyxiated and then placed into the bathtub where she drowned last December in her off-campus apartment in Ypsilanti.

"We do know she was asphyxiated prior to being placed in the tub," said Ypsilanti Detective Joe Yuhas.

Yuhas said police believe Niswender was still alive at that point, but are uncertain if she was unconscious.

"She was not deceased (beforehand,") Yuhas said. "It's never been determined (if she was unconscious.) But, she was definitely asphyxiated and then drowned."

Police found Niswender partially clothed in the bathtub in her Peninsular Place apartment on Dec. 11 around 9:30 p.m., when they did a well-being check after she hadn’t been heard from in a few days.
It seems that LE did give more details later that year.

Been trying to reply but system keeps saying Im not logged in when I go to hit reply button after typing lengthy replies. I hope this works this time. What the coroner said I believe was asphyxiated then drowned. This is the same as what I am saying or tried to. Like many others I couldn't understand how someone could drown yet not have water in their lungs so went digging for an answer. This theory helps it make sense now. I came across an old cold case which explained how this happens. If someone is attempting to drown someone, or more specificly dunking them (either underwater, or in and out repeatedly) this is what happens. Cold water exposure, or "dunking" or immersion causes laryngospasm which causes apnea, (inability to breathe, unable to take water into their lungs) ->leads to hypoxia (oxygen deprivation) resulting in asphyxiation, and then drowning.  Ever had someone surprise you with cold water, or jump into a lake, pool that was real cold and it momentarily takes your breath away? You gasp real suddenly? That is what is happening. But of coarse we dont die, because theres no threat.. Julias threat was real and made sure they silenced her kept doing whatever it was they were doing to her until they got the result they wanted. This is one theory thatd explain the dry drowning with asphyxiation beforehand. Ive tried to find out if vasovagal syncope can cause laryngospasm but havent found anything definative yet. I now think its still a possibility of "mugging" that could have caused crushing of the larynx causing asphyxiation, but doesnt one pass out unconcience first? What doesnt make sense is no signs of any struggle or any marks on Julia. Curious to know what the toxicology report had to say.  I was also reading from the textbook of forensic medicine I'll get the link to it
