George Kennedy received 15 years in prison in 2002 and was released in 2007 (Do they know how to count???) :furious:

does the family situation remind anyone of the haleigh cumming's case???? Also, does anyone know if the mother is pregnant?

  • #143
food for thought: in the toledo blade video interview with the mother she tells reporters that after she couldn't find her daughter she CALLED <modsnip - term not allowed here> (child molester) and asked if he had seen her and had him HELP HER LOOK. She said that he sounded shocked and didn't believe her.

Could she have tipped him off??? (that is, if he had anything to do with this)

OK, so here I go again. After the Tori case, I'm still recovering from the guilt of suspecting Tara...BUT...

That statement made by the mother made my hinky meter go off the charts! I didn't like it one bit. And while I'm at it, why is she already talking about not ever getting on with her life? I know everyone acts different in these situations, but that was a bit weird to me...IMOOC

Oh Lord I hope not! I pray that child is found safe and sound and I am sorry but she needs to be taken away from that mother. Letting her run around alone at all hours and she hangs with predators.:furious: and yes she looks pregnant to me too:eek:

Yes and yes, Nurse! Mom is pregnant.

I am so sad that this baby has not been found yet.

badme - I'm with you on this one. This mom has said some really strange things. In the first interview, she said she thought there might be some "foul play there" which was odd to me. Then she said "I'm not giving up, its too soon to give up" - what the hell does that mean?? It was just last night, day one - nobody even thinks such things on day 1:mad:

Definitely a stange one here. Not sure what it means, if anything. BUT calling a <modsnip - term not allowed here> to help look for the child is mind boggling!

I'm behind on my reading but has anyone checked how many sex offenders live in that complex or the area?

ITA! Not to mention, when the reporter asked her what she is thinking where Nevaeh is right now, she said she has a feeling she's in a car somewhere...Is it me, or is that just bizarre?

thanks {(({Salem}))}

I have so many things I would like to say about this woman being pregnant but I won't go there (yet)

I found it bizarre too! Does that mean LE needs to be looking everywhere except in cars?

another article about the possible sighting in Columbus
--------

Thanks, nursebeeme,
Well, here we go again. A missing little girl sighted in a mall. This time the woman with the little girl actually told someone that the little girl's name was heaven spelled backwards. Again, where is this person who saw her and spoke with the woman accompanying the little girl?
This mall should have security cameras in place and this "event" should be available. I always have to ask, "If you suspect someone is with a missing little girl, why don't you call the mall security and have them held until LE can arrive to investigate???????"

badme102, this is O/T to this thread but I just need to share this with you. A perspective, so to speak. Why should you feel guilty for suspecting someone of a crime that even the LE themselves suspected until an arrest was made just a few days ago?

Don't do that to yourself. You suspected what every LE invesigator suspects within the first few minutes or the first few hours or even longer of a missing child case and that is until the parents are ruled out they are suspects.

Plain and simple my dear :blowkiss: don't beat yourself up and keep on posting I like the ideas you bring to threads :)

WDIV report at 6PM

Local gathering at KMART on Monroe Avenue. It's a citizens search. They are searching the roads, ditches, woods, etc...:(

LE says the search is very much still on..More than 100 LE personnel on the ground.

Family members are exhausted and are headed to the citizen search at Kmart.
Releasing new photos and videos of Nevaeh. She graduated from preschool last week.

Nevaeh is shy and would not leave with a stranger. Some think she would scream if she was in danger.

George Kennedy still being questioned by LE.

My comment: Just seeing the hordes of people gathered at Kmart on the news is just amazing.

Grandma Sherry B has had custody of Nevaeh pretty much since she's been born because Jennifer was incarcerated for a while. Nevaeh calls her "Mommy" (the Grandma)
