Missing girl's family thinks mom knows something

http://www.toledoonthemove.com/news/news_story.aspx?id=304754

"I hope that it wasn't her. I hope she was not involved but my gut tells me if she wasn't immediately involved, she knows something," said Carla Elliotte, Nevaeh's grandmother.

It is a suspicion, NBC24 was told, that is echoed even by Jennifer's relatives. The fact that she failed part of a polygraph test does not help her case.

"I'm sick. I don't want to believe that she had something to do with it but I think if she did she deserves what she gets. She needs to spend time in jail and this would never have happened if (Nevaeh) were in my custody a long time ago," said Shane Hinojosa, Nevaeh's father.

Where would he have taken her? If Jennifer called him and asked him to help her look for Nevaeh then where would he have disposed of her body in such a sort period of time? I'm thinking Jennifer called him within 15-20 min. of finding her missing. If that is the case then her body would have to be relatively close. JMO

I'm thinking mommy dearest knows exactly where this childs body is. If she is not invovled I will eat crow when it's stated. I read the article the dad's family thinks she knows something and so does her family.:furious:

But if she was transported somewhere and disposed of then there would be evidence in a vehicle or something. If there is blood on that knife then there is bound to be blood somewhere else...I mean she didn't just bleed on the knife (if he used that knife to do the unthinkable)
I'm wondering if LE has searched the dumpsters for bloody clothing, I hope they've checked every article of clothing in that Motel and in Jennifer's apartment.

I'm suspicious of her, too, but I can't figure out the timeline, when she could have done something. It sounds like a neighbor saw Neveah riding in the road, went and got mom and when mom got out there she was gone. I just don't see what she could have done. And supposedly one of the first persons she called was the RSO so when could he have hidden her? I would like to know how long it was before she talked to the RSO. I don't trust the mom but I can't see her covering for someone taking her child.

In one article it said the neighbor who came to tell on Neveah was a child. this could've been hours before. I'm not buying mommy dearest story.

"I may be the last person to see her and she was in my care, but she's been in my care," Jennifer said after the news conference.

Was she the last person to see Nevaeh? The police are looking for information on the timeline from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Is there maybe a question about the neighbor's story?

5-11pm when was this child reported missing to LE? I thought it was close to 8:15pm. 6hours is a long time!:furious:

Just a note on LE.
Someone on one of the Monroe boards said her parents were upset by LE searching their apt. without a warrant. She was referring to the Senior building.
IMO

Sounds to me Carrington like she is a stickler for doin' something the right way, and I'd give her kudos for that.

I don't care if the police think something awful happened in Gram's apt {just an example and I know not the case ;}, the proper way to deal with this would be to get a judge to sign a warrant no matter what the time of day.

Go Granny, and I think she is absolutely fed up with the lifestyle of this mother and having children in the mix. From the statements she has made, quotes attributed to her in links, she loved this little girl and am sure she was her defender at all times, to the best that she could be, given the circumstances. I don't think this Gramma lived with the mother by choice, but rather out of need, due to economics.

Hope that's right, as I heard the mom and her lived together.

xox

PS: Coming in late, is there any news on the 14 yr old brother? Ta

I'm beginning to think mom's story about the neighbor kid might be just that a story. Kinda like Melissa Huckaby making up the story about Sandra showing up at her house to play with her kid and her sending her home. Any report directly from the neighbor kids mom? Or is this all coming from Nevaeh's mom.

shades of Cindy Anthony. I wonder what the question was that she FAILED?

The mother of the missing 5-year-old girl said late this morning that she failed one question during a polygraph exam Monday, but it was due to stress and lack of sleep.

Jennifer Buchanan said she was held for many hours without food during questioning by investigators and that she felt like she was being treated as a suspect in the case of her missing daughter, Nevaeh.

"I guess I failed one question," Ms. Buchanan told The Evening News. "But I haven't slept since she's been missing. I haven't eaten. I felt I was being held against my will. It was horrible."

Monroe County Sheriff's Maj. Dan Motylinski confirmed that Ms. Buchanan failed a portion of the polygraph test. Police officials also told The Evening News that George Kennedy, a man being held in jail on unrelated charges, also failed parts of the polygraph test.

OK - WS'ers -- your child is missing. Do you care about food and sleep? I'd want to get the LDT over asap, so LE could move on to other leads.

What's horrible (you little twit of a mother) is your daughter is missing, and you felt like you were being held against your will.

Something is wrong -- very very wrong.

If you type in vinelink and click on MI, you can set up to get notified when Kennedy is released or there are any changes, ( going to court, transfering to new place). If you type G Kennedy there is another case in Wayne county same age name, but does not state the the outcome. This is totally private, so no one will ever know who signed up on anyone to see who is released. I use this very often, since I work with the legal system with Domestic Violence victims.
