Also, George says his new gf is Savannah Gray and that it was her blood in the hotel room from getting a tattoo... (and George claims some of it was his from fishing incident)

Sigh** the complex webs these people weave.... Where is Neveah???

ETA: what I said above was taken from krt's toledo blade link

Okay, I'm going to say this and probably get blasted for it but "Dang, I feel bad for this guy!" I know from the business I am in that 15 year old girl's can be very deceiving, not saying the one involved with Kennedy was, but many are and they put themselves in situations that can get them hurt. I had one girl in my foster home who was 14, she had a baby, and looked like she was at least 21. She had already sent 3 men to prison for rape. This girl lived in my home for 2 years, she was slinky sexy with every male friend who visited our home, flirting and acting all sexy...it was ridiculous! She finally moved to a new placement after she let a guy drive her home from her job at a local burger joint and decided to take a detour behind a chicken house where she had sex with him that resulted in her second pregnancy. She had just met the guy that very night! With that said, I know that there are probably a lot of men tagged with the SO label who quite possibly DID NOT KNOW their victim was not of age. Okay, Blast away!

No bashing from me, I see your point but I have no sympathy for GK.
If it were an isolated incident maybe... but 2, 3... 4 times? A 13 year old in the mix? Offering drugs for sex? Nope... he's a predator and he re-entered society and found his way into relationships with someone who previously ran a daycare, another woman with children, JB with a 5 year old, he violated the very essence of his conditions, knowingly. No sympathy from me at all.

He may not be responsible for Nevaeh going missing, but I feel he absolutely knew what he was doing by his 2nd or 3rd victim in their low to mid teens...

Kennedy knew the law and he broke it. He knew his probation terms and he violated them. He did this over and over by being near and with Nevaeh. I do not feel sorry for him in the least.

I do understand what a couple here are saying, but I cannot dredge up any sympathy for anyone who decides he/she does not have to obey the law.

The talking head also said he sees a lot of "disconnects" psychologically between this Mother and her child. (he said case but that's what I inferred given the convo).

I just wanted to add that in many cases (not all but many) we do see disconnects between children and their primary caregivers when children are abducted and missing. Inattention seems to be a big one. Again, not all but some.

I think that this Mother loves her daughter, but it is to the best of her ability and limited in such a way that put Neveah at risk.

Now I'm not attacking the Mother. But when we have a certain level of inattention to children by caregivers we also see accidents happen. It really bothers me when they are called "accidents" and I'm talking about...children left unattended in bathtubs that drown, children that are left to run in neighborhoods at very young ages that are struck by cars, children that are not supervised and fall into ditches and drown after rains...I've personally seen these happen, and have dealt with some of the aftermath of these accidents within the our community (I won't go into but I know that you understand completely Nursie what I'm talking about with the volunteer work that I do).

So not to blast her, but she doesn't get a pass from me. Her calmness irks me to no end. Her defense of her RSO friends irks me to no end. This Mom set up a perfect storm and one way or another something was going to happen to Neveah. Whether it was from a befriended RSO, or criminal element, or it might have been an accident waiting to happen from the child being unattended for long periods and allowed to roam all over, or someone (grandmother) saw this problem and intervened.

I'm just shaking my head here.

I don't know if you have seen this drawing by Nevaeh or not. It is posted on the MT forum. My degree is in art, and I have taught it. I find the colors she chose to be dark and angry. Also, as one of the posters there commented, the monster blob is her mother! On the Love is... page, she doesn't even mention her mother.

That's very interesting Claycat. I would love to see more of her art work so we could get a feel for it.

I would also like to see what an art therapist has to say after seeing more of her artwork about the strong lines where it looks as if she were using pressure. The choice of colors and the side to side strokes over the top of some of it.

I don't know enough to even interpret.

Am I missing something or does the timeline that Kennedy lays out (getting the call, going out to search, taking these ppl to and from the dormitory).....TOTALLY different from the "alibi" of him leaving for 30 minutes only.
Or am I mixed up?
Too many days, too many posts

The blood soaked shirt has really bothered me...
Warning kinda graffic

Last June my son flipped our atv and ended up with 15 staples in his head. The gash was 2inches down and 2inches back. The blood ran down on his shirt. Only half of his shirt was covered in blood. the shorts he pulled off and applied pressure to his head also were not soaked in blood. So that being said just what could've happened to who to cause the short to be soaked in blood? I hope they compare Savannah's dna to the dna on the shirt. Maybe they need to be looking for another victim in monroe...
-----------
ITA with you. There may be other children who have been victimized. And, what about the photo of another little girl who looked like Nevaeh? Who is that little girl and why did a SO have her photo? I'm really concerned about the blood and the shorts. Has anyone confirmed if the shorts are for a child?

I am furious that person of interest GK ,a registered SO, served only 33% of his sentence for the rape of a 13 year old girl. WTH!
I implore everyone to call your state reps and senators (Levin or Stabenow for Michigan readers) and lobby for harsher sentences and NO PAROLE for sex offenders.

CALLING ALL MICHIGAN WEBSLEUTHERS!
I contacted my state representative and asked about the possibility of drafting leglisation that would require harsher sentences and no parole for sex offenders.
I am going to meet with her on June 19th to discuss ways to achieve these goals. It would be great if we could form a lobby group to help push this agenda.
I don't think I have enough posts to be PM'd so I'd better get busy posting!

i agree with you claycat. judging by these pics it chills me to see the one with her mom, it gives the impression that things weren't good between them. she's angry, afraid, and as you said seems to consider mom a monster. the one of the love is page i get the impression she has a good relationship between grandma and the aunt. she knows she's loved by them.b

i'm not in michigan and while i agree with this totally. please, please make sure that it is worded in some way that someone such as an 18 year old who has a 15/16 year old g/f who's parents charge him with statutory rape and he ends up on the list.... or someone who is totally innocent to the fact the girl he's dating he suddenly finds out is a minor instead of 18 or so like she said. both situations that happen more often than people realise and the poor 18/19 year old or around that age gets put on the list as a SO and at least in my opinion doesn't deserve it. make sure that these type don't get caught up in this type of a legislation and automatically gets life in jail.

Nevaeh didn't even know her mother. The pictures are dated 2-2-09, JB was in jail until 1-26-09 out only a few days. Wonder if she ever learned to love her mother in the last few months.
I wonder if Grandma took her to the jail to visit over the years?
IMO

Absolutely agree,I actually know such an individual. He had consensual sex with a 15 year old(he was 18 at the time and thought the girl was older). This happened 11 years ago.The girl's father found out and insisted that he be charged with rape and now he is on the SO registry. If legislation were to be passed I think it should be specific re age groups. Personally I think the perps that go after children (not teens) should be locked up for life.

Absolutely no sympathy for George Kennedy from me. Not only did he rape young girls, his parole officer AND the parole officer's supervisor have both recommended repeatedly that he be returned to prison because he is combative, manipulative, constantly violates his terms of parole, etc. This is not a nice guy.

I just want to clarify that I do not have SYMPATHY for this piece of garbage. However, I am not convinced he did this crime and hope LE has someone else on their radar.

Unfortunately in many of these cases, what you hear (the public) isn't always the whole story. I'm not here to get into a debate on this in this forum but I would simply urge anyone who makes reference to cases of 18/19 year olds being classified/registered as SO's, to look much closer at the case(s) that they're referring to. Each state has an age of consent and guidelines as to who (age difference between perp/victim) can be charged. Oftentimes the mother/family of these perps paint an entirely different picture in order to gain the public's sympathy. There are many that simply feel it's wrong to brand someone that young as a SO - the reality is, like it or not - most pedophiles begin offending in their teens. The researchers, your legislatures, and LE know this but the public continues to look at these type of offenses as benign - they're not. The following is a link to NCMEC/FBI Profile/Analysis of child molesters who abduct (free, downloadable pdf). It gives the case history of many offenders (real name have been changed for obvious reasons) and as you will see most began offending in their teens and these offenses are anything but benign/harmless!
Warning: The case examples given are extremely graphic!

while i definitely agree with you its not the age i'm talking about as much the situation. the one case i know of personally i knew both involved...the guy was like a son to me since the 8th grade. the girl like a daughter, both hung around my house most the time. shortly after he turned 18 they broke up. she found out he was seeing another girl told her parents they had been having sex and that started the statutory rape. the second case again i knew the girl personally. while she didn't really hang with my daughters, she was well known by them, and me. i know for a fact she would tell guys she was 18...she looked like she was 18 but she was only 15. i called her on it a few times because she tried telling some of my daughter's friends she was their age, 18. well she stopped hanging around as much. short time later a 19 year old was being charged with statutory rape. in this case i didn't know the guy but i can't help but wonder if she didn't pull it on him also. there are some guys that age that yes they deserve to be in jail for life.

I do believe that the registry needs to clearly identify SR from other sex offenses.
