Ok, I just heard back from friend at dispatch everyone that posted on her site was sent an alert letting them know it was a scam. now all the postes are erased and she's not online anymore.

Okay..in the comments on the nevaehbucanan scam myspace, only one person has been commenting from this myspace account http://www.myspace.com/vampirewithavolvo
My guess is this person owns both accounts...her name, her husbands name, her childrens names and even her maiden name are all on her myspace page...they are the Martinez family, from Peoria, Ill. I have screen shots.

As the search continues for a missing 5-year-old girl, a $2,500 reward is being offered for those with information on the case.

And I'm not sure if this is the same one that has grown (since the article was done on Tuesday, or a different one completely.

A reward fund has been established for Nevaeh Buchanan the 5-year old Monroe, MI girl that has been missing since Sunday evening.

The Duvall Group is sponsoring the fund. It is started at $500.

They could always use more money for a reward tho. Have Nancy or Greta been covering this? I haven't been able to watch lately.

ETA: I think they are different funds, since both articles were written on Tuesday. Not completely sure tho.

The site was reported and has now been altered. I did take a screenshot of it with its pleading for donations. I'll be glad to supply you with it, LOL for a promise from your station for a donation to Nevaehs reward fund.

And I have screenshots of the only friend left in the comments section of said myspace account, whom I suspect is the person behind the bogus myspace account.:woohoo: I'll be happy to supply them as well BB!

I took screenshots as well. One that clearly shows her claiming to be Nevaeh's mother ("my baby") so that she can't claim that she's simply a caring person who was raising funds to help in the search - she intentionally misrepresented herself. I also took screenshots of her repeated pleas for donations to help find her baby. If anyone wants to direct me where to send them (if they're needed) just let me know, I'd be happy to send em on!

I know sex offenders have to live some place, I would prefer some isolated island, but why are they allowed to livie in and around apartment complexes, around playgrounds, places where there are so many children around. With every new case it seems like we are hearing more and more about sex offenders in these communities.
