Id really like to know why mom is searching seperately from everyone - ESPECIALLY when the searches are being ran by a group of family members.

Why just her and 15-20 of her friends who KNOW her? Why isnt she with the 100's of other people scouring for her daughter? Where are her and her "friends" searching?

Judge Vitale is a fantastic Judge. He is very good at clarifying and cleaning up records. He is beyond fair as well.

I haven't caught back up...have been away for a while. I wanted to mention, though, that I can look up records rather easily on teh D. Ct computers. If anyone has a person that they want to look into, let me know and I will try to get over to the courthouse and look it up.

Not on edge, she sounds tired...no comment on questions regarding George is very strange. She sounds normal.

JB- I don't know if he could've known my daughter. I've never seen him before, but he does take care of an elderly lady here so I'm sure that he's came across her a few times before.

DD- But, you didn't know him whatsoever?

My reaction to this is

How does any mom not know if her 5 year old child has met someone or not? Was Nevaeh constantly running around unsupervised? It's not any wonder the girl is missing, mom practically pushed her into the arms of whoever took her.

just the image in my head after hearing about him in a speedo... in a kiddie pool... should net him another conviction for exposure that is extremely indecent. imo

Chilly - I wondered the same thing - My son is almost 10 and I guarantee you I know 98% of the people he comes in contact with - whether hes at home, school, etc.

Easter is no longer a POI in the disappearance of Nevaeh, according to LE.

They are now looking for a specific vehicle green box shaped van at the Hollywood playground btwn 6-7 PM last Sunday...

$250 bond?? Are you serious?

He is being charged with a misdemeanor. There is clearly not enough evidence to charge him with anything else or else, and trust me on this, he would have been charged. A $250 bond for a misdemeanor is actually pretty high. Judge Vitale, and every other D. CT Judge, would normally have done a PR bond on a charge of arson of personal property. I suspect the reason for the higher bond is related to this case or his prior criminal history.

likely no one wants to post bond just in case he is involved somehow. I know I wouldn't want to be known as the person who posted bond for a suspected <modsnip -term not allowed here>.

ETA: just read above that Easter is cleared. I haven't read that anywhere but here, but I will accept it as true.

This case is really mucked up with all the rumor. Additionally, while I understand that people want someone to blame, I think we have to be really careful about convicting someone before there is any evidence to do so.

I work in Monroe CO., live in Monroe CO., was born and raised in Monroe Co. This is not a lax on crime county. Not at all. The Prosecutor's office is actually authorizes charges on rather small things, IMO. I can, speaking from experience, tell you all that if Easter has been released...they have nothing to hold him on. If they had some way of keeping him in while they investigated, they would.

I have a daughter. I am very concerned. All the same, it doesn't do my daughter or anyone else's child any good to put the wrong guy behind bars.

That article was updated at around 2:46 this afternoon, LE said he was cleared as far as Channel 4 just announced.

Good catch, Carrington. In one interview Jennifer said that she was checking on Nevaeh every few minutes. I agree with you, she was sleeping when Nevaeh disappeared.
