Hey all.

I'm back; Release the doves.

(kidding!) Work takes up all my fun posting time dammit.

Well, for my 2 cents, Nevaeh's mom gives me the hinkies. It's not that I need her to be hysterical or anything in order to be believable (and not invovled in the girl's disappearance.) It's just something about her that seems.... IDK.. off. And I don't know how much faith I have in the polygrapghs, but that cant be good news if she didn't pass it. But OTOH I didn't know that they typically revealed who passed and who didn't. HHmm....

still trying to catch up on many pages....

It may seem like I always think that the parent gives me the hinkies, but for example, I didn't get that hinky feeling from Sandra Cantu's parents, or Marc Klaas, or Jessica Lundsford's or Elizabeth Smart's fathers. (Yes, the hinky is very subjective and scientific.)

So the little friend came in to tell the mom that Neveah was playing in the street and shouldn't be there; so the mom "got up" and went with the friend to admonish Nevaeh and she was gone?! So she disappeared in the short time that the friend went inside to the time the friend and mom got back outside. yikes... (if I read that correctly.)

Still catching up so apologies if this has been addressed. Why would he burn the receipts that are his alibis? That's weird. I would be holding onto those things for a long time.

Thanks to all who have been updating. I can't possibly keep up......Just today, I was down at our local campground store and there were 2 little kids there, maybe 5 and 7 at the most? Very young kids. We were all shocked and asking....where is your mom or dad? We could not believe they were down there alone.

I followed them all the way home, maybe a mile, back to their apartments. They looked at me like I was the Perv! Never did see a mom or dad but at least I got them back there without some creep coming out of the woodwork to harm them. This happens a LOT around this area and these apartments. It scares the chit out of me. In this case, it's because they are stoned, drunk or high. That's the area. They don't care about anything except the next high.

Now I wish I would have called the police. I will next time I see it. But I'm so confused as to why these so called "parents" get free housing etc., when they shouldn't even be allowed to have kids! Just disgusting :furious:

I'm still not convinced that the fact Nevaeh is missing and the blood that was found in the mom's SO BF's hotel room and on a knife in his car are not related. They say the blood does not match Nevaeh's. I still have questions about the probability of this happening at about the same time Nevaeh goes missing. I still can't shake the little boy's statement about her being stabbed by "Daddy George".

If you scroll down, it says.. "Monroe County Sheriff Tilman Crutchfield said the men are part of the ongoing investigation to find Nevaeh, who an 8-year-old neighbor told FBI agents was kidnapped by a “bad man” and stabbed."

Just a recap of Nancy Grace tonight (for those who missed it):

-More information on what George Kennedy was charged with, and why he's a RSO. Apparently he was charged with and convicted in 2001 of criminal sexual conduct. The victim (somewhere between ages 11-15) claimed he forced her to have sex with him inside a car behind a gas station. Several other young girls told cops they were sexually harassed by George Kennedy as well, and one girl (age 13) told cops he forced her to kiss him when she went to his house to pick up her brother, and that he offered her marijuana in exchange for having sex with him. There was also a reported incident with a 15 year old where he grabbed her butt and tried to force himself onto her. George Kennedy plead no contest to charges of accosting a minor, criminal sexual misconduct and home invasion. He did 13 months in jail for rape (the rape of the young teen in the car behind the gas station). The incident occurred in 1999, but the victim did not report it until 3 years later (when police were looking into other incidents in the area).

-Upon his release, his conditions were: He was ordered not to have a relationship with anyone associated with a child and not allowed any form of internet access.

-Investigators are following up on over 900 tips that have been called into the tipline. They were able to speak with the driver of the ice cream truck (that they were looking for) but they are still searching for the driver of a green mini-van, as well as a silver mini-van seen at the playground near the apartment complex. They're saying the green mini-van is either a Ford Windstar type or a Chevy Astro type.

-James Easter, the 3rd person of interest, is demanding an apology. He says he was targeted by police and that he was put in a "horrible cell with no bed and no pillow".

-James Easter Criminal History: Pleaded no contest in 1999 to misdemeanor indecent exposure and 2009 arrested for arson.

-The father has no idea why he didn't get custody of Nevaeh. Says the state of Michigan granted it to the grandmother instead, and he doesn't know why.

-Jennifer (Nevaehs mother) says: "I'm completely, very worried. It just makes me sick t my stomach. I just can't imagine. She's never the type to just wander off. I'm almost 100% sure she got snatched. It was just so quickly that I don't think..I know that she had to put up some kind of fight 'cause she is loud if she screams, she is loud. But I really don't know. I think they put their hand over her mouth, maybe put her in a bag (I can't tell if she's saying bag, or back, sorry, haha) or something. I have no idea and I really don't want to think about that."

-Shane Hinojosa (biological father) is on. Says the police aren't telling him anything, and he hasn't learned anything new about the investigation. Says he talked to the detective this morning and the only thing he told him was that they're still searching out there, and the cops put a $20,000 reward out. Says they're searching "everywhere in Monroe County. Woods, ditches, creeks, everywhere" for Neveah. He says Jennifer failed one question on the polygraph, and the question was "are you still involved with George Kennedy" and that's the question she failed. He says Jennifer told him that was the question she failed. He hasn't spoke to the grandmother at all. Says Jennifer was the sole caretaker of Nevaeh that day, and she had a friend over named Lisa. Says he has no idea how Jennifer supports herself, but that she does not work and the grandmother works at Food Town to support Nevaeh.

-Shane says he is actively searching for Nevaeh and that he's out all day (until 4:30 in the morning) searching woods, searching on 4-wheelers, etc. Says Jennifer has been in the house the entire time, and he has no idea what she's doing and why she won't search for Nevaeh. He says he spoke with her yesterday and asked her why she was letting Nevaeh hang around a sex offender and she said "i don't know".

-Reporter said James Easters backyard was who's backyard police dug up, and that it was in regards to the fire that he made at 5am burning receipts in a tv-dinner box. They wanted to search the pit where the fire was made.

I woke up this morning and read back thru some of the last media reports about the daily pressers being suspended and searches being temporarily suspended and got very angry! I just want to say this morning... if any LE reads here... that the MEDIA IS YOUR FRIEND! It keeps the story ALIVE. It keeps it in the mind of the greater public. I do NOT want to see this turn into another Haleigh Cummings. If we look to some recently past cases the ones in which the media were front and center the ENTIRE TIME (Caylee Anthony, Sandra Cantu, Tori Stafford) they were....well....SOLVED. I now look at Brittanee Drexel, Haleigh Cummings, Adji Desier, and see a scary and similar pattern of LE stopping communication with the press and the cases slowing WAAAAY DOWN. I do NOT want to see this happen here.

I know from the business I am in that 15 year old girl's can be very deceiving, not saying the one involved with Kennedy was, but many are and they put themselves in situations that can get them hurt. I had one girl in my foster home who was 14, she had a baby, and looked like she was at least 21. She had already sent 3 men to prison for rape. This girl lived in my home for 2 years, she was slinky sexy with every male friend who visited our home, flirting and acting all sexy...it was ridiculous! She finally moved to a new placement after she let a guy drive her home from her job at a local burger joint and decided to take a detour behind a chicken house where she had sex with him that resulted in her second pregnancy. She had just met the guy that very night! With that said, I know that there are probably a lot of men tagged with the SO label who quite possibly DID NOT KNOW their victim was not of age. Okay, Blast away!

OT but in addition to teaching my boys that it is their responsibility to make sure that if they don't want to have children to make sure they take precautions~ if a woman tells you she is a such and such age, you better make darn sure~ I know it sounds harsh and hateful but I have taught them to make sure for themselves about BC and the age of the woman. I have one that turned 18 in JAN and I harp on him LOL

I have no sympathy for this guy. I believe he is a true sexual predator based on the statements of the local teen girls however I do have personal experience through family members with the type of situation you are referring too and understand how easy it is for a one time bad decision through association and impulsive action to ruin a young mans life.

I heard a great point made on NG last night and it blew me away. The TH (talking head) on her show said that she had "unsavory at best" friends and aquaintances (the Mother) as we can see by her friends that are RSO's. He said that the environment that Neveah was in was probably polluted with these type of people and illegal activities (something along those lines, not his exact words).

But~ it's the friends and aquaintances that we don't know and haven't heard about that is also a great concern not just the ones we know about.

I don't know if you have seen this drawing by Nevaeh or not. It is posted on the MT forum. My degree is in art, and I have taught it. I find the colors she chose to be dark and angry. Also, as one of the posters there commented, the monster blob is her mother! On the Love is... page, she doesn't even mention her mother.
