I mean says the husband? He reported it. He could have not reported it when it happened. I am not sure if she had family or not.
For sure. If there were no neighbors, family, employer or friends to corroborate her husbands’ story and timeframe, who knows when she really was last seen and went missing. Authorities did say her scent was tracked by dogs as far as the picnic table. Always skeptical in this type of situation.

Dorothy Smith Kelley had joint replacements, BTBL had no such surgeries or scars
Broken spine I thought or something similar?

Didn't know if anybody had brought this up before but I found this reply from the DDP to someone asking about the case last year:

Yay, great news. Best chance of ID now. and once again, huge chapeau to DDP that they always put the UID above their own pride and hand stuck cases over to Othram. Not every genealogy project does that, many say „no useable DNA“ or „not enough matches“ and keep it at that. I love the DDP.

Is it possible that she came to the country from Ireland sometime during her life, and that is why there are a lot of matches there and appearantly only distant matches in the country? It also mentioned that she had matches in New zealand
