Suspect Sketch Post number two...
6.
7.
Depending on what summary you read, there were only two men seen talking to Paige at any one time, with possibly a third (driver maybe?) in the maroon van.
The multitude of sketches could have been based on different witness accounts, and there could have been more than one encounter at the side of the road. For instance, someone may have stopped to offer assistance and then left, and another person or persons arrived after that.
The below more recent three sketches were released which show two completely different looking men than in the above group of seven. The center man in this group is very likely the same as the seventh (right end) man above. The way that I read the information about the below sketches is that they are of unknown individuals who were possibly involved in other similar incidents, not necessarily that they were seen talking to Paige the day she went missing.
A cold case team investigating the disappearance of a Lansing-area woman last seen in Livingston County 21 years ago has released three new suspect sketches.

@dotr ‘s link - as the brief October 2011 article that includes the sketches indicates that the three new sketches (which are also shown at the bottom of @Richard’s post above) were in fact “three new suspect sketches” (which I take to mean: in Paige’s disappearance) - so I assume they were not sketches of suspects from similar unsolved crimes, and that,
the sketches were “developed from recent tips” - so, I assume they were generated by the cold case unit (which I think would mean sometime between ‘09 and ‘11), and that,
the three new sketches are “based on tips from a now-retired Michigan State Police intelligence officer and two separate travelers”.
It’s become very confusing though, as from what I can tell, originally there were six suspect sketches, all black males appearing to be between ages 20-30 (this wording also from a linked news article). I think the initial Charley Project page only showed those same six sketches - but now there’s seven..
Then after the cold case team was formed, three “new sketches” were issued in 2011. So, nine total (again, from what I can tell).
The current Charley Project page for Paige Renkoski now shows seven (7) sketches. It appears that only one of the three “new sketches” (the one in the middle, (aka
@Richard ‘s sketch 7) was ever added to the Charley Project page. I don’t know when it was added.
An obvious question is: why only one of the three sketches - when the three new sketches were of suspects supposedly related to Paige’s disappearance - not suspects in a similar unsolved case (my opinion, just based on the article wording), and were provided by two “travelers” (sounds like eye witnesses to me) and a retired Michigan State Police intelligence officer (also sounds like an eye witness, though maybe not..) as part of the cold case unit investigation?
Could LE have been “playing games” with the three “new sketches” trying to trigger other (new) witness accounts or solicit new tips from the public - maybe somebody who might know somebody who looks like one or more of the new sketches? Could be, but that seems unlikely to me.
Just my opinion, but of the three “new sketches”, the guy in the middle, and the guy on the right, may already be represented in the original group of six sketches (maybe described by different witnesses and / or sketched by different artists?).
In fact, if we use @Richard’s numbering of seven sketches (which I’m not sure we should.. but they do match the sketches on The Charley Project page), imo sketches 4 and 6 could be the same person, and sketches 5 and 7 could be the same person. You might even be able to find similarities between those and others from the original 6.
But the question still remains - and it is especially pertinent now imo due to the very recent media articles suggesting a possible link between the murder of Beverly Wivell and the disappearance of Paige Renkoski - why is the sketch of the white man on the left in the “three new sketches” not included in so many media articles related to the case published between 2011 and now - and why is it not shown on The Charley Project page?
And even more especially, as I thnk the face of the young white man in the sketch on the left (in the “three new sketches) bears a resemblance to the face of the 69 year old man recently arrested in the Beverly Wivell murder case: Buster Robbins.
