I'm also finding it strange that there are not very many pictures of her husband on her FB (especially since posting pictures was one of her most regular activities). She also posts lots of things about the health of other people (Mr. so-and-so's daughter wants you to know he's out of the hospital now, as well as lots of posts about her family member's breast cancer and breast cancer awareness in general), but nothing about her husband's supposedly long/terminal illness.

These 2 things just aren't adding up for me... I guess we will all be waiting patiently for more details. I'm just completely morbidly fascinated about what would drive a mother to do this to her son. It's also very hinky about the husband's death plus the house fire plus this all within the year... JMO and all that. (And none of this is meant to be insensitive! Just observations.)
I noticed how little there was on FB about her husband, too. It doesn't add up to me, either. I wonder if Ramsay found out some information that Donna wanted to keep secret. Or if she's covering for someone. Why go through all the trouble of hacking up a body, only to dispose of it in plain sight?

Sure looks like she's applied makeup for her booking photo...

Aside from crazypantsness, the only thing I can come up with for tossing parts/bags out the window during daylight is the intense odor. Seems a few days may have elapsed, unless he was frozen... Mom may have had no clue how horrific the smell in her car might be tooling along the highway with (probably) the heater running, and just couldn't take it. Obv. just thinking out loud here...

I'll use myself as an example:

When my daughter passed on (stillbirth), I had to be medicated. I was put on paxil and xanax as well as ambien. I had NO idea how to take this stuff and after 3 months I felt better, so I quit taking paxil. I don't remember anything for 72 hours. Apparently I sliced my wrists, attempted to hang myself and went into a state of shock. I woke up in the ER with a lecture on medication withdrawal. Apparently during my black out I had accused my ex of trying to kill me because I failed him. Literally babbling nonsense. I have no history of mental illness before then or after.

I have also went cold turkey off of xanax after 10 years, it was scary to say the least.

My point is, don't buy into the theory that Ramsay was possibly a lunatic of sorts. This is the media, it is sensational and rarely are the people experiencing psychosis a danger to others - but they are almost always a dangers to themselves.

Agreed. My mother decided to quit take her meds (multiple antidepressants, benzos, and Ambien) cold turkey about 10 years ago. We came very close to getting her hospitalized. She was beyond manic (and she is not bipolar) and remembers little of what she did, said, etc. She is "only" clinically depressed and has anxiety, but she totally went off the rails when she stopped her medications like that.

I'm curious how mentally ill Ramsay really was, and how much was exaggerated by his mother, either for nefarious reasons or because she was simply freaked out by his response to his father's death.

Either way, chopping him up and throwing away his remains on the side of the road is not the act of someone who either found her son dead by his own hand or who killed him in self defense, in my opinion.

Apparently he was suicidal in the past. And supposedly he wanted his mom to have guardianship over him.

From the link:

Donna Scrivo lost her husband to a heart condition in April, and five months later, her home was damaged by fire

From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20140203/METRO03/302030088#ixzz2sIwA4sYg

I wonder if an autopsy was done and what tox screens were taken.
Also wonder what the cause of fire was.

This was my point earlier. One article said he passed from a terminal illness while all the others stated it was sudden and due to a heart attack. I wouldn't believe ANYTHING the media has to say about Ramsay's mental state.

I swear she had makeup on today at the hearing. Is this typical?

That is some dark lipstick (?) she has there. It's not helping her to look less menacing!

Breakdown:
Required 100,000 in cash if she bonds (this means no 10%)
She has to have a psych evaluation prior to the Feb 11th hearing.
She does NOT have an atty and so the judge is having one appointed to her.
When asked about an atty she mumbled about getting one and the judge corrected her and stated that since no atty has filed anything on her behalf, he is assigning one to her now.
The young man in the court room was NOT her son. He had a case pending too and is probably wondering what the hell he stumbled onto today lol
She's considered a flight risk because she has ties to NOLA and Texas.
Bleach and blood was found at the crime scene
She was seen by neighbors carrying out trash bags to her car, the one on the BOLO
Blood of the victim was found also in her car.

I noticed when it was said she was seen by neighbors carrying out the bags , she squeezed her eyes closed. I do they same thing when I realize I did something stupid (how could I be so stupid) . She did not have same reaction when they said about dismembering the body.

ETA When I first checked here and looked , I checked under wrong area did not see anything about him. Came back today and realized I should have looked in other area for him and I squeezed my eyes closed and called myself an idiot lol that is what I was trying to say.

Husband dying suddenly at home, being a nurse= knowing ways to induce heart attack, prior minor crimes, fire at her home, and her eyes. She has an evil and flat effect in her eyes. When I first read about this I had found her name on another site just after his body parts were found and when they were still looking for the heavy set older woman. I went to her facebook and hairs stood up on my neck, she seemed to be normal in postings and family was good but her eyes just really got to me. I hope the look into her husbands death again.

A post from her fb, last July she stopped to help push some guy out of the ditch wearing heels and speaks of having superior upper body strength. She makes a comment down farther, that both her sons weren't happy she even stopped to help the guy and one of them went out and bought her a little pink can of pepper spray.

When I saw that I figured she most likely was asked to steer the car, she looked her age and I can not see a younger man asking her to push. Who would have been steering the car? If it happened at all. If my feelings are right about her, then making her self a supposed do gooder would fit. Maybe I am just jaded from 20 of reading true crimes lol.

Wow, shocked at the new developments.

The suicide idea did cross my mind before and she may have wanted it to look like a murder so she could collect on life insurance. I know some insurances do not cover suicide.

Since this is local for us, my husband has listened to me read many of the articles aloud... he had this thought about the murder/dismemberment:

What if.... after the dad died in May, the son (RS) wanted to move back in with his Mom (DS) so as not to be alone. What if she said no. Maybe he (RS) set the fire to her house so that she would be forced to move in with him, so he would not be alone... Then maybe she found out that he set the fire, which set her off because she lost her mom in January, her husband in May, and then the house they lived in in September...

Just a thought and by no means excusing her atrocious behavior!

I watched a marathon of Snapped this weekend, so I know what you mean about being jaded. lol

The son lived alone and supported himself completely. He also was the one stuck rehabbing her house after the fire. I sincerely doubt he set fire to her house because he couldn't live in it.

Upthread is an article posted stating R paid half his expenses, and his family paid the other half... I think it's a Free Press link.

Eeek! I realized earlier that what makes her look more menacing is how light her eyebrows are. Either way... wow. And she looks older than 59 but then again, no makeup - bad sleep and being in jail will give your appearance an overhaul.
