I'm totally ignorant to this, so I figured this is a good enough time and place to ask; When you get life insurance, is there a bigger pay out to your beneficiaries if you're a victim to homicide?
If there is, then that could be why she disposed of him the way she did. She wanted Ramsay to be found quickly so that insurance payout would be in the fast-lane. If he was just missing then she would have to wait X amount of time and file for Ramsay to labeled as deceased. My uncle that went missing (case is listed here on WS!), he was declared dead after 10 years. Not sure if 1o years is how long you have to wait or not.
I think Donna chopped Ramsay up to make it look like anyone but she herself did it. Who would think that a mother was capable of doing that to their son? Who on earth would think the mother would also burn, and toss to the side of the road the corpse of their child? No one.
I said it a few days ago and I'll say it now since there's more leverage in it being true, Donna killed Ramsay for money. Plain and simple. Why she singled him out is beyond me. I'm guessing it's because he was there and easier for her to control, maybe slightly dependent because she made him that way.
I wonder if the catalyst was due to her finances? True enough she had collateral (house, cars) but she only withdrew 8,100.. If it was 8 grand even then I'd speculate she had a bit more in her accounts, the extra 100 is telling to me. It says that she emptied out her savings or checking. Why else would you take specifically 8,100? Why not take 8 thousand and leave the 100? It's because that's ALL she had in cash and she never planned on using that account again. 8 grand isn't much when you were given about 325,000 a year prior. Where did the money go?
325,000 = her house mortgaged twice and paid off in full plus a brand new car at 25,000.
So where did the money go?
In summary:
I think Donna killed Ramsay for the life insurance policy, and left his remains the way she did in hopes he would be found and identified quicker, which results in a faster payout with the policy.
She withdrew 8,100 specifically because either her in her checking or savings, that's all she had.
She either panicked when she withdrew it or had some odd ball idea for it. From the start she was taking the innocent approach (reported him missing).
Seems like on Monday she changed her plans:
She donated the cars she transported his body in
She cleaned the house with bleach
She withdrew money.
Edited to add: TracyLynnS .. looks like we are thinking alike! lol sorry to be a repeat to all you had said.
