To me, it seems like she has an "alcoholic" look- which might explain why she tossed out his body parts in such a cavalier way. She might have been intoxicated (as well as having her own psychiatric problems). Strictly speculation.

Bolded by me. Yesterday the power was out at my house for 6 hours.. I spent time reading numerous articles about this case on my phone. I ran across comments by a few people who knew Ramsay, most said he was very kind and gentle. A former co-worker said the same about him, and said she met the mother a couple of times and she was very demeaning and rude to him in front of her which was very embarrassing for him. I wish I could remember where I saw that.. couldn't link because I was on my phone and I don't seem to have the skill set to do that when I am on my phone.

Anyway, it occurred to me that if she treated him like that in front of someone she didn't know well.. how badly would she treat him when she was alone with him? Also, I think it was Astrokitty (sp?) who wisely pointed out that we don't know the facts about his "mental illness". Perhaps she knew how to really push his buttons and perhaps the specialists put a lot of credence into her nursing credentials when making their diagnosis. I'm not saying this is how it went down.. just that she could have really been manipulating the process, and manipulating her other son who seems to have applied for guardianship for Ramsay as well.

Well, maybe I'm way off track with my thoughts, but I do know that no normal mother could dismember her son no matter what the circumstances. Oh, and I doubt she was motivated by collecting any SS he might have been receiving, because she wouldn't have reported him missing if that was the case, I don't think.

Enjoyed breakfast with some of the Seagoville Alumni this morning. We only had a bout 10 show but conversation was big. Mike Long was there and bought breakfast for everyone. Thanks Mike. See what you missed by not coming. December we are moving it to a Sunday Morning Decenber 16th. Donna Chaffin Scrivo is coming in again and cant make it on Saturday. Did anyone catch her fb post of May 6, 2013 about the Miranda Lambert song? She really identifies with the song which I looked up (never heard it before). She says "I love Miranda....this is her fifth No. 1 single. Watch the video & tell me if you can identify with at least one thing she does - or you can guess which one(s) I've done." and "Just can't believe no one has done any of the things she did in the video. The picture alone - has me on 4 counts". Look up the lyrics....scary.

I don't use meetme so I'm not positive, but I can say the only people I know who use it do so to "date." I saw this a few days ago which led me to the "what if" I posted a while ago about the chance that she had met someone. I've heard no mention of that possibility, but who knows. Does anyone know much about meetme website? I don't see that she had many friends on it though so she may not have really used it maybe she just signed up to see what it was all about.
