Hahahahah I was just sending that photo to people. It just has to be the same guy. Age match, locations match, DOB is a perfect match.

Must have gained like 150 pounds, but I see it.
It’s a heck of a lot of weight gain, must have been working a lot of fast food places.

Or a thyroid or something. Eyebrows are distinctive.

Am I reading his priors right? He’s spent about 14 years in prison.

Yup. Sexual stuff with a teen between 13 and 15.

He served the whole sentence too, likely because he had a weapons charge in prison which added on time and wouldn’t have looked good to a parole board.

Does anyone know if they've said how the man was murdered? TIA So far, I've just read that it occurred in the basement of the home.

More like 250! Wowsers! He hasn't even been out a full 2 years! That's a lot of Big Mac's, Biggie Fries, and extra large Cokes.

The one article said it was impossible to tell his cause of death because of all the blood. The police said he could have been shot or beaten. MOO

That is a pretty scary crime-- does anybody know what kind of ID they showed the home owner that made them trust those killers enough for the owner to let them in their home?

Think he will sing and give up slim shady? The second suspect.
There’s really no telling, but I don’t think he’ll have to in order for them to catch him. I wouldn’t be surprised if they already know who he is, as they identified this guy right away. They didn’t put his name out there though, waiting until they actually caught him to do that.

A bit more info:

Hernandez was arrested without incident at about 4 p.m. Saturday in Shreveport after Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies spotted a vehicle on Interstate 49 that matched Hernandez’s vehicle.

Deputies made a traffic stop and arrested Hernandez for armed robbery warrants out of Ohio and the Oakland County murder warrant. He is being held in the Caddo Correction Center.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said Hernandez is scheduled to appear in court in the next few days, and it was not immediately known if he would waive extradition to Michigan.

Even though the wife survived, I don't think she was involved. If she was younger, I'd be more suspicious and think maybe she had a boyfriend and she wanted out of the marriage, etc.

But I think she was overlooked by them because she didn't seem like a threat, being in her 70's. She may have seemed harmless in their minds and even reminded them of their Mamas. So they tied her up and started looking for valuables.

I think it is very odd that they were denied entrance one day and then came back the next day and tried again. This was a targeted lick and they were looking for something they expected to find there. They probably beat him until he finally gave in.

I was discussing this with someone when we first heard about it, and we decided if she was significantly younger, then she definitely deserved a closer look (we've seen that one a lot).

I think they weren't overly concerned with her immediately, as they had the biggest threat isolated to the basement, where she likely had no idea what was going on. There's no question they were targeting this house specifically, and the question is why.

Either these guys got word that this house was a good target, or they were put up to it. I think the former occurs much more often than the latter, but I'm still totally open to this being some sort of hit, with the opportunity to rob being a bonus.

The first man flashed a clipboard in front of the camera very quickly. I believe it was too fast for the victim to see what was on it. He may have asked for i.d. too. I had a door-to-door salesman flash his clipboard at me once but then held it face out by mistake so that I could still read it and what was on it had nothing to do with why he said he knocked on my door.

Thanks for the info. This is a really important warning for home owners---
