that line speaks volumes to me. Giving the boys safely over to someone to "protect" them does not compute with this line IMO. May God forgive him for protecting his children? That doesn't have the ring of truth to me.

According to The Blade of Toledo, John Skelton posted a message on his Facebook page seeking forgiveness. In the posting, he allegedly wrote, "I love my wife very much. May God and Tanya forgive me." It was posted Wednesday, two days before the boys were reported missing.

What day were these boys last with their mother?? When did they go to Dad's?

His asking God and Tanya for forgiveness could be in reference to his intention to commit suicide.

Bixby hospital is in Adrian. Morenci is a small town with around 2000 people. IIRC Adrian has a population of around 25,000 people. Adrian has chain restaurants, movie theaters Walmart and Meijer Thrifty Acres and a small mall last I knew. I'd guess Morenci and Adrian are 20 miles apart. It's also not uncommon for people to go to a hospital or a Dr in OH.

Could be the reason he went to Ohio had to do with his insurance and "in network" caregivers.

The neighbor said that (s)he last saw the boys friday afternoon in the yard of the father's home. I read it in one of the MSM links from the last two pages on this thread.

So I am not sure how whether they were seen at school on wednesday is of interest?

IMO, I wonder if he just 'snapped'....... to many problems, depression and tried murder/suicide........but couldn't do suicide.
I'm praying he will tell the truth, where the boys really are!

The boys’ mother, Tanya Skelton, also of Morenci, called Morenci police after the boys were not returned to her at 3 p.m. Friday as she said the were supposed to be, Weeks said.

The article I posted that said the boys were seen FRIDAY afternoon in the dad's yard makes no sense.

I'm not even sure I believe the THURSDAY afternoon report.

Bad reporting again? Or contradictory information supplied by the parents? IDK.

I understand why we are considering the possibility that Dad has hidden the kids away from Mom, for whatever noble reasons.

I can't compute that with his current silence on the matter though. At this point, he could have just told the mom, the cops, the doctors, or his parents that he feared for their safety, and in his darkest (suicidal) moment he sent them/took them to xxxx.
No he created a cyber carer story, this is not the action of a caring dad, this is the action of a 'butt coverer'. (IMO)


I don't doubt that he loved his boys, and that he has encountered a desperate set of circumstances lately. I think he acted out of despair and not evil, but I think he has harmed his children.

I hope they are found soon.

You would think because Thanksgiving was this week that Thursday would stand out. Not like any other week where days could get mixed up from one and other. KWIM?
