The location of the business meeting was important to me and I'm satisfied that it was Va. just need to know where exactly. We now have to look at the trip to visit family from a different perspective because we were considering it was scheduled because the meeting was taking him to that area. I'm very sure in the initial reports it was reported to be a weekend visit not just a stopover to say hi for a couple of hours and leave.

I'm back on that fax thing again now because the purse for a three year anniversary gift story is out the window. That's a very detailed story from a friend of Jason's that can't possibly be right from what we now know. Very bizzarre imo info being circulated. Lot of similarities to the LP case I agree right down to the salesman starting a new job detail.

I did find it informative that Wake County has had 23 murders, Michele being the 22nd. five unsolved. As for those complaining about references being made to the trailer park I want to clarify my angle on that. When the neighbor was brought up there were then stories circulating on other forums about him and his friend from the trailer park and conversation on the 15 year old was shut down so we never heard more on that and some here even seemed to get offended for considering the 15 year old although I don't know why. The trailers may be rentals plus you'd have various people visiting those trailers etc. so imo no difference there than if it were say an apartment complex right behind their property being pointed out. People just speculating on if non residents could've been in the neighborhood, etc.

Could it be that Jason forgot about the anniversary and is late in getting a gift?

No :( It did not work. I tried all that stuff already, but it keeps coming up blocked. Thanks for trying to help though.
Also, if you have anti-virus software, you could try to temporarily disable it.

If all else fails, give the computer a good smack :slap: . Works for our sales manager sometimes.

Otherwise, :waitasec: .

Any chance there is a weblsleuths anonymous?

Hi, I'm Pack-fan, and I have a problem. I completely neglect my work and my family in order to sleuth.

Ok, first step is admitting the problem, what's next????? Gotta run, be back to check in later for answers.

Could it be a setting in your antivirus software?

I'm guessing you tried this too:

To enable cookies, follow these steps:
1) Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
2) Click on the "Security" tab.
3) Click "Custom Level" button.
4) Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.

A large insurance policy as motive does not seem to me likely in this case. I know it is a factor in a lot of cases but I'm not convinced in this one.

They had rental property. If money was an issue and the both knew it, they
had a property that they could sell for extra cash. The only possible reasoning I could see if money was the issue was if he was doing something behind her back and got into trouble (gambling). I don't give the gambling issue much weight, no where has it been reported, I tend to believe that this is a rumor, imo.

There was a report earlier (can't remember the link, I'll find it shortly and post) that stated she was considering cutting her hours back at work to spend more time with Cassidy and the new baby. I don't think she would do this if they were having money problems.

I also suspect that considering her job, imo that she probably took care of the money. I think she would know if they were having money problems unless the gambling could possibly be true.

She was very smart, I would guess that her insurance policy is large. She knew that if something were to happen to her, she would want to pay off the house(es), leave money for Cassidy and basically leave the family debt free. Any good financial advisor would tell you the same thing.

It would be a more likely motive of affair in my opinion.

I know I am 12 posts behind, I type so slowlyyyyyyyyy.
I agree with most of what you said here. I don't think there were money problems per say. I mostly wonder about the "fantasy" of living a life of little restraint when there could be enough insurance money coupled with homes being paid off that Jason could "retire" and be out from under any pressure to work or otherwise. (A life with no one expecting anything from you could sound very appealing to a person, I would think.)

It's driving me crazy too. I checked the microsoft site and this is what it said:

"To Modify Security Settings in Internet Explorer
• On the Security tab, set the Security level for this zone slider to Medium.

or
• If the security level slider is set to High, or you set a custom setting (by clicking the Custom Level button on the Security tab), modify the appropriate zone with the following settings:
• In the Security Settings dialog box, under ActiveX controls and plug-ins, set the following:
under Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins, click Enable.
• In the Security Settings dialog box, under Cookies, set the following:
under Allow per-session cookies (not stored), click Enable, or Prompt.

If you have not previously installed the ActiveX controls, the Download signed ActiveX controls setting should be set to either Enable or Prompt. "

I really want you to get to see this video! I tried to see if it was on YouTube, but no luck!

Please click on HELP at the top of your window and click on "About Internet Explorer". Let us know what version you have-it should be the first line on the screen that will pop up.

You might need to delete the old cookies after you've changed those privacy settings.

Ver 7. is fairly new, right? Might be a bug if it's not working. I hope not!

Hi all,

I'm watching the local news WRAL and just heard that Michelle's house has been released and is no longer a crime scene - the tape is gone. I'm going to their website to see if I can find a link and I'm going to replay the news to be able to type word for word what was said.....

The Liana White case is in trial right now. The husband murdered the pregnant wife (there's so much evidence it has to come out guilty, in my opinion) and there is a 2 year old daughter. Sometimes men murder their pregnant wives even though there are children.

I'm leaning towards the whole idea of Jason being the follower and Michelle being the energy in the marriage. It almost looks like a shotgun wedding and it does look like Michelle was the financial backbone of the family. Just like in the Peterson case, Michelle talking about spending time childrearing may have added financial strain that Jason didn't know how to handle. I read that Jason changed jobs because of higher earning potential, but what was wrong with the job he had before? Had he hit the glass ceiling in terms of salary advancements? Is the new job a commission based position and does that mean that he had to work that much harder independently than he did before? Is Jason the type of person that is a self starter and would manage well in a traveling sales position or was this job looking like a lot of work for someone with his personality?

I'm just wondering ... many of us, me included, think men murder pregnant wives because they don't want the responsibility of family. It also seems to come up over and over again that the wives are talking about reducing the family income by one salary. This may be the real reason that men murder. They can't admit that they are unable to maintain their lifestyle on their salary and they don't want to reduce their standard of living.

ok here goes ....as reported on news at WRAL - no link for their website yet

"Today the Wake County Sherriff's Office released the crime scene where someone killed a pregnant woman. The tape is down from outside the Wake County home. Michelle Young was found dead there 2 weeks ago. Today Sherriff's Deputies canvassed the mobile home community behind the subdivision. No arrests have been made yet in this case."

They showed the house and the flower arrangements are still there but all the tape is gone now.....

Thanks goodness for DVR LOL

Ok, I feel better that I sort of watched the video. With all this noise in the house it's hard to hear. However, I will watch it again when it gets quieter.
