And you know...it does make sense that one would leave earlier intending to get to a hotel at a reasonable hour, get a good night's sleep and have a fresh start for an AM meeting.

And you're right - we don't even know if he did make a phone call at 11pm. I think the poster who suggested that the following day he had his phone off and just checked his voice mail is probably right. If that's the case, I don't think he was using his phone the nite before.

I think if he was stupid enough to keep checking for voice mail messages in the morning, not even thinking ahead that this phone would be telling a tale on him, maybe he was also stupid enough to call her the night before at 11pm frin that phone too? And didn't he call the house twice the next morning to make it look like he was trying to call Michelle.

I don't think if he did this he was very smart or solid in his plan, creating such a bloody murder scene when he could have just tripped her as she was going down the stairs, or taken her for another car ride. Amazing for such a supposedly smart guy to be so dumb about going about the murder.

I agree with you, scandi... and FWIW, I don't see this as a fight THEN a rage killing. I see it as premeditated...

It's POSSIBLE his plan went askew - maybe he was going to strangle MY used *whatever* he had with him for the blows. She may have resisted and he THEN raged on ...

Also, won't be surprised if we see strangulation marks around her neck. Some have said that b/c of the open casket, MY's showed no marks. Morticians re-build faces and cover marks as much as possible ... Well, I do hope when leann c comes in she'll be able to identify the "make-up" and embalming that they do in the Morgue.

I've read the S/W countless times putting my info together - and each time, JY stands out in a terrifying manner.

having gone through the search warrants yesterday and regurgitating the data to the forum - one thing that really hit me was the warrants about the cing phone - all the voicemail data still on the phone and the fact that the warrant indicated he checked his voicemail repeatedly. First this tells me that LE already has info from the service provider which shows calls - when one retreives voice mail - the phone effectively calls itself. There is no other way they would know he checked voice mail repeatedly without this data. The search warrant itself is issued to obtain audio of these voicemails.

Second thing - why was he checking voicemail instead of answering the darn thing when it rang - to me that is simple - if he didn't answer he didn't have to act and he didn't have to say anything to anyone. It screams at me that Meredith was indeed used to be the one to find Michelle and the baby - JY wanted MY found when he was well away from the scene. This is what the voicemail stuff is all about IMO. What makes this look even more suspicious is the guy is a salesman - why would his phone be turned off. ? It is also suspicious if the phone was on and he just didn't answer and the cell data shows him moving through transmission towers... JMO of course.

It's true, charlie, we ONLY have the "insiders" passionate claims about JY being seen leaving in company of MY's friends .... and THEIR claims he called at 11. I think he did call, but as you say, may have been from another telephone/mobile. THEIR claims it was for a leather purse/wallett. THEY were right about print out not a fax, though, from s/warrants.

I'm not willing to say they were correct about it being a print out versus a fax - true it was printed out through the computer onto a printer located in the home. All that says to me is it was not a conventional fax coming across a fax machine. I know this is splitting hairs but so is print out versus fax. JMO.

OK, i finally see what you mean, i think.....this was more than likely a previously faxed document that was PRINTED from the computer at home....sooooo, is it safe to say that LE has gotten all the info out of the computer by now????...don't you think that LE already knows exactly what time this was PRINTED?

I'm not sure they would have this data just yet. Honestly I have no idea how long it takes the computer forensic nerds to find it. The search warrant for investigation of the hard drive (Compac Presrio 6000 belonging to JY) was issued 13 November - so I just don't know. I suspect however they are looking for more information than just the info relating to the document so it may take a while. JMO

I really can't help where my mind wanders from time to time but after finding out about the gf and the fax being a major pointer of guilt to jason I was thinking of a few things that may have occured that I haven't seen suggested.

Lets supposed the printout was for a gift for MM, based on that could he have remembered that he left it home and the story to Meredith he figured by saying it was a surprise for Michele would keep her from mentioning it. Yes, a very unfortunate excuse since his wife is found dead.

On the other hand we don't know if Michele made any calls to him after say finding the document and that was the catalyst for an argument that sent Jason back home and we know the rest. Of course he would've called Meredith using that same premise because noone would be any the wiser of who the gift was for. Unless there was angry voicemail left by Michele as opposed to direct conversation there's no way to know this or prove it.

the 'friend' of a 'friend' of JY's that is posting on ctv is a man.

LE took into their possession MM's computer on 11/16/06, but didn't get into getting a search warrant to review it's data until 11/30/06. Like the poster said, they must have a ton of evidence they're going through for it to have taken them so long to get to that computer to confirm the affair.

When JY went to Denver, for business he would stay at one hotel ??????(can't recall the name) but when he stayed at the Adams Mark in Denver, it was for "one" of the affairs.

GOOD GRIEF! Are they saying there's more than ONE AFFAIR??????

Also, the hotel he stayed at the night MY was murdered probably had one of those card code locks. Therefore, LE can track his coming and going to the room.

PPS, IMHO, do you all think that stuff about Meredith possibly being arrested could have just been something put out by the defense minions to take the eye off Jason when his (first?) affair was revealed?

Would you really be surprised if there were more than one girl friend ? I wouldn't be and fully expect for others to be found. What good is a girl friend when she lives in Fl and you are in NC ? Not much...there will be more, this is not the end of the story IMO.

I think it would be highly risky for a defense team to fabricate such a story about Meredith but not beyond them leaking one if it exists. JMO

Yes, they might as well step up now before the police walk into where they work and the rumor mills go crazy - they will be found even if they are out of state obviously.

As for MG - he is a great story teller - I still like the ketchsup in the brown van the best however...

Yes, that's the one. I knew it was a sorority sister he was the friend of. I thought of that, that he was one of their husband's.

I understand from his previous posts that the sorority sisters didn't suspect JY at all until this info came out about MM. Now they're suspicious.
