have you heard ANYTHING about JY actually being at the house that Thursday night, while the girlfriend was there to watch Grey's Anatomy with Michelle??

hmmm, i agree he's a rodent, but i don't imagine it would bother him to see them, before he left...he had a 'plan' & was sticking to it...he wanted Michelle out of the way...i think (IF he did it) he had grown to hate her.....BUT you could be right about him not being there when the friend was....ya know, this COULD be the reason it's all so unclear as to WHEN he left for this business meeting.....there's been nothing 'in stone' stating when he left for this meeting, & it COULD be, LE had to figure this all out on their own...that's what's weird...i think LE has HAD to figure it all out on their own, & if that's the case then JY probably DID leave prior to the g/f getting there that night....otherwise the g/f could simply tell them..."hey he left at ??? time"....hmmmmm, now you got me thinking in a slightly diff direction RC....it DOES seem like if there was a witness that saw the time he left the house that night, that would be right on in there in the news...right??...probably???

IMO - Fussell liked blabbing to the press - if he would regurgitate the story about Cinderella - surely had the gf or even Jy told him when JY departed he would have spit that out as well. Seems to me Fussell kept the two subjects entirely separated as though one had nothing to do with the other. Then again that separation could have simply been the choice of the writer.

My opinion - MY's girlfriend did not see JY that evening, mainly because JY did not want her to see him - I do believe he left before she ever arrived at the Young home. JMO

OK, lolllll ... we're hittin commojn ground.... he may have committed crime and (pushed) hours to 4:30. THERE IS A REASON LE are enquiring as to vehicle activity uo to and b4 6:00 am. MAYBE ... he slun back and rested his car?

So let me re-phrase my thinking: Crime may have occured earlier than I've suggested (earlier than 4 am).... BUT ..... he MAY have stayed in house/car and left early hours to continue his journey.

I am not making myself clear regards TOD and TOD (lol time of death and JY's time of crime scene departure, heh heh...) :slap:

i don't know Polk...if he did this, i can't imagine him hangin around the house for very long afterward....maybe a quick look around to make sure he didn't 'miss' something that could have been left behind....ya know, a quick glance over it all.....course IF Cassie was awaken, that might have slowed things down a bit.....

Maybe the "slipped out" phrase was used to indicate that he left before the friend/s arrived. If there was tension between Jason and Michelle because of marital problems or because she found out about the affair, I can see him wanting to avoid being there among Michelle and her girlfriends. Or maybe he thought that one or more of the girlfriends may have known about the affair with MM and wanted to avoid being under their scrutiny.

I believe this is a very distinct possiblity Scout. And thanks for the input, I think this may be spot on and maybe I'm not totally crazy for thinking it afterall.

i see what you're saying....LE didn't have a problem with the media stating that the g/f left at 10:30, sooooooo if she had been there when JY left, seems that would have gotten out in the media as well....hmmmm

Did you find anything about the Hampton Inn ? What I found was sketchy and I couldn't decide the probability of it so figured it wouldn't become firmer and left it at that.

FWIW - if JY planned to do this - IMO I don't see him wanting to see either Michelle or Cassidy prior to doing it. He seems so like a wimpy weasel or rodent of some sort to me. JMO

Sorry, but I haven't had time to look into it yet. I appreciate you pointing it out to me. I glanced over the warrants once and have been meaning to get back to a more thorough examination of them. Busy, busy, busy!

I prefer "slunk" out of his home like the slithering slimeball that he is, but that's besides the point.

Something has been on my mind since I heard that Fussell had lunch with MY a few days before she was murdered. I wonder how good of a friend he was if MY didn't tell him anything was going wrong with the marriage. Or did she know yet?

I had a few gay friends in college, and I could tell/ask them ANYthing! They were better than some of my girlfriends at the time.

I wonder also if Fussell was more of MY's friend than JY's friend.

I also find it interesting that Grey's Anatomy was the show of choice for MY and friends. From experience many years ago, it's hard watching a show practically celebrating adultery when you are going through it yourself.

You have to quit doing this to me ! Everytime you start talking I start going in another direction - here it comes, this is what is on my channel:

Suppose the May accident really was not an accident - it did assist in eliminating a baby at that time regardless of what the "friends" say - the fact is the baby ceased to exist. One problem solved, although maybe not the exact outcome desired.

MY pretty much immediately gets pregnant again. The second problem returns, I call a baby a problem because it is kind of obvious the man can't keep it zipped. Not much is factually known about what JY did for a living prior to ChartOne however the friends suggest pharmaceutical sales. Being in the Triangle area I would suppose his travel may not have been near as extensive so he is cornered into living day to day with what he does not actually want - monogomous relationship, the old ball and chain so to speak. Change jobs to one that requires travel 3 to 4 days a week. Away from what he does not want and he is free to pursue women well away from the home.

Maybe some cat is let out of the bag about his affairs ( come on - we all know there will be more than one) and MY picks up on it. Perhaps there is some marital discomfort. This is in addition to already not wanting to be tied down so the plan starts - as comfrontation occurs the need to be done with it heightens. Divorce is not an option for financial reasons - hard to support both a family and a swinging lifestyle but it could be greatly enhanced if there truly is a 1M $ policy - quite nice sum that is. Lots of travel, lots of time to visit bars in various cities and play the shy game...

You see where I'm going.

oh yes, i see where you're going, & i agree 100% on all of the above....makes perfect sense....i also think the car accident was NOT an 'accident'....& it very well could be that something about affairs had hit the fan recently, leading to a 'plan' to nip it in the bud without having to go thru a divorce....

i'm really starting to think about this thing of whether the g/f was there that night or not, when JY left for his 'meeting' ....you really have me thinking now....

I'm trying to multi task here and not being very successful at any of it. No idea close. My opinion is this, from personal experience, traffic around Raleigh/Durham is not the greatest. If it were me, I would wait until at least 7 for traffic to move on along. Avoiding the traffic could mean an hour or more saved on the road depending on which way he was travelling. I'm sure he was well aware of this. I would also tend to beleive that he would want to spend as much time with Cassidy as possible if he was planning on being gone for the weekend. I always like to tuck the kids in bed if I am going to be gone for several days. I would think that it is a very good possibility that someone saw him that evening, AND WHAT CLOTHES HE HAD ON.

IMO Rhett Fussell was more a friend to MY and the other sorority girls than he was to JY.

I don't watch much tv - my wife watches GA and usually with friends as well. The whole problem I have with tv is that it does dull everything down. We all know things happen - but tv seems to make it the norm and over time possibly more acceptable. i.e. we are all wanting information, screaming for it - truth is we aren't watching CSI LV, NY or Miami (how many are there anyway?)- this is real and this is how it works - I think we forget how the real world is if we keep glued to the tube. It seems to me Laci Peterson kept up a very good front - for some reason I think MY would be just as capable and we know for an absolute fact MM was capable. JMO
