Thanks, BDE. I have heard it is also much worse toward Ann Arbor, where my husband works. It is going to be quite slow going for him to get home, too. Hope you are well stocked for the next day or so.

Thank you so much! I'm waiting for a friend to call when he gets home who lives in AA. So I'll be patient ;).

I'm further North. It's a blizzard.

I feel like having all these different types of weather in one day is very normal here in Ohio. Lol. I just hope my grill doesn't fly into my sliding glass door again. Lol.

We ended up with 5-6" where I am in Oakland County (MI). For a short time last evening, snow turned to freezing rain/sleet that left an icy coating on driveway/roads. It took DH two hours to drive home yesterday and ninety minutes this morning. He advised me to stay home as the roads are a mess. It will be a while before side streets are cleared. Stay safe.

Sat around yesterday waiting for the weather to start. Typically we get what Detroit gets. Not this time. It poured rain all day and some on the outskirts got a bit of freezing rain. We woke up to a winter wonderland. Please pray March 6 is not ugly. It's my Son and lovely Future DIL's Bridal Shower. I need to travel 25 minutes from my city. GRRRRRR I hate winter!

Hi Bravo! Glad you popped in here. I wondered how the weather affected you. It was exactly the same here. Will hope for good weather the entire week of the bridal shower.

Morning snow of less than an inch is lifting north and will slow you down as the roads are still covered and slick...

Heavier snow will come down for several hours after bringing 2-6” of snow across SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario...

I had begun to think that yesterday's Winter Storm Warning was a lot of hype when there was no snow during the early afternoon as predicted. Then, at 3:00PM, I could hear sleet on the driveway and street and peeked out the front door at the freezing drizzle. Half hour later, the precipitation changed to snow, and it snow heavily for several hours before finally stopping at @10:00PM. We seem to have gotten 3-4" in our part of Oakland County, and local district and schools north of us are closed today. March is definitely coming in like a lion!
