From what I've heard it is good that the mantruck {?} was on the tracks as it means the men were not blown out of it. The men left their 'things' in that vehicle.
The explosion didn't happen the way they thought. All I know is it happened in a part of the mine that had been sealed off and not being mined anymore.
The men must have run back further in the mine - he said they don't know where the other 12 are.

EDIT: Yes the man they found was burned to death. He was 700 feet inside the mine. Could lightening travel in that far? We don't know much about the explosion, but it was in a closed off area.
EDIT 2: There are 8 other tunnels I believe where they could be, connected to this shaft.
